Mare Thanks for the updated dining info....I would not be surprised if credit cards are required to make reservations especially at certain popular places to eat...I think that free dining has created kind of ADR havoc...people wanting to make sure that they have places to eat and overbooking....

Channing I hope that by now you are enjoying a cup of coffee...I have to have some first thing in the morning or I just cant function...

All of the talk about empty stores has inspired me to go out and do a little shopping....I need some things from target and hate when its crowded there....

Deb: I know, I'm signed up everywhere too. They did have my info incorrect on the WDW site, they had my address in the apt section, which could mess up the mail since only the address line really shows. I've never received anything in 10 years. My friend goes to WDW once and gets a postcard in the mail days after her first trip! Oh well....

We met a honeymoon couple on the DME bus and they were telling us how they used all different cell numbers, home numbers to double and triple book their trip. They had an ADR for each meal, in each park at the same time! And they were proud of this! If it wasn't their honeymoon, I would have said something! My Target was empty this morning! I've never been in and out so fast and I shocked myself for spending less than $50! That's a first!

i am back. nothing overly juicy. it was fine. i didn't have the urge to choke or spit my food out.....nothing that took me off guard. i had tons of coffee...and now i have a diet coke from McDs. And...the best part...I went thru the drive thru and asked the nice manager there (we chat every time because I am a diet coke regular ) if he knows Z...and he was like....YEAH....why? and I said I am his mom...and he was blown away because he couldn't believe I had a kid that old. OK...so now that he made my day....

Kristin! We DID go there!!! I had my spinach/egg white omelet and they had Franks Hot Sauce which is my absolute favorite...so it was good. I have to figure out how to get some peanut butter bars to WDW for my pal Shel....she would love it....I was only planning on carrying down my laptop and my hipster....but if I used a larger bag I could put a box of them in it...and hope some bozo (A@@ ) doesn't step on them during the flight......the wheels are spinning.......

I can finally post snow pictures, I hope no one minds. This is my neighbors dog - Max. He doesn't have his collar on for his invisible fence, and the snow confused him. He is still at my house, I put a thick blanket in our garage so he can lay on it. His owner is at work today.

This is the snow in our front bushes.

This is the back of my house - we had driven up the road.

This is a pathway up the road, it is always so pretty in the fall.

Peanut butter! and Chocolate!!! YUMMY!!! Chan- do not stress out too much about getting those down there. They sound great- but not if it causes stress KWIM?

Watching the inauguration today is one of the highlights of my life. I know we will all be in our 80's and discussing with our great grandchildren that we saw it happen! Six years ago I sat in horror and watched the first bombs drop in this war on terror. Today is the first day since then that I have looked upon the future of this country with true hopefulness for the future of my children.

Lisa....I LOVE Your pics! oh that Max is precious...what a face.... and before you said "Channing this is for you" ...I was thinking...wow..you have a cool looking McDs. How funny...do you get your Diet Cokes there?!?! I love that you live in the country!!! I grew up in a farm field. I actually wanted to move back to more country...but this is as country as I got.

Sheli...I am so not stressing ....I am sooooo there at the GF with PB bars. I am telling you...where there is a will there is a way. And they would be pretty darn good with champagne. Oh yeah...I hear ya...I am very hopeful for the future now.

I'm glad you liked my pictures Channing. Max is a sweetheart. They demolished our original McDs last winter to build this new one, it opened in the summer. The old one was soooo small, this new one is very contemporary inside and much bigger. It is not very far from us and it is way too easy to make a quick stop, so far I haven't found anything bad their yet! Our town is very small, McDs and Subway are about the only thing we have - Lisa.

You are so sweet to take care of poor Max. Wow...what a lot of snow you got!!!! (well for you in Raleigh! ) And that amount shut the town and schools down!?! That is something. You must RARELY get snow.

I grew up in a town that had NOTHING! (not even a pizza place!!!) Well we had an A&W Drive up...you know the kind where they bring you your food to your car on a tray?!?!!? ugh..and I hate A&W.... When I was a teenager they built a McDs & a pizza hut.....and I bet they have a Subway now or three....it's very very much more built up.....almost a different place.

OK, girls!! Recipe time!!!!!!! Sandra Lee just made these and they look DIVINE!!!!!!!!!!!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bars

3/4 c. Bisquick
2 c. quick oats
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. cinnamon applesauce
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. choc chips
1/3 c. honey
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray 9x9 inch pan with Pam
In a mixing bowl, stir together oats and bisquick
Add all remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed.
Press into prepared pan
Bake 20-25 minutes
Cool before cutting into bars (makes 9)

I don't have the applesauce or raisins or else I would be making these RIGHT NOW!!

ooooh! How timely!! I have all of that stuff!! I think..not sure about the oats....if Jojo didn't have her school concert tonight I would try cranking these out....i hate raisins...well...in most stuff...i would do it without.

Kristin More recipes thank you...that sounds like a good one!Everyone around here loves peanut butter...I buy jars and jars...thats why the recall recently made me a little crazy...I threw out some stuff but not all...for college kids this is a dorm room staple!!! This is another GF gal recipe I'll have to try...

I have a recipe for bisquick with zucchini and mozzarella cheese...yummy but very fattening I'm sure!!!

For all of my fellow diet minded gals...(I'm still trying...but I have to give credit to that nasty stomach flu for most of the wt loss )Klondike has a 100 calorie ice cream sandwich...and its pretty good!!! I know its freezing out...but I can always eat ice cream...

Lisa What nice pics...every thing looks beautiful covered in snow...its getting around in it thats a real pain...you're lucky your snow will be melting soon...

I think we have 59 more days until spring

Channing Diet coke and compliments...cant get any better than that

BTW thanks for all of the breakfast ideas..I think we're gonna try Cape May...

Shopping was a breeze...love it when there are no crowds...
