Oh Lisa...I am happy to share some of mine with you....Honestly, we have more snow than I know what to do with! YUCKO!

I'm so excited.. we are supposed to get snow later tonight. They say it should start at midnight then last most of the day. I'm sure that this sounds funny to most of you because you get it everyday - but we don't (Raleigh). It will only be 2-4 inches, but it will shut our whole area down. They will have the major roads paved, but that's all. If I wake up and it has really snowed, I'll post a picture so you can get a good laugh - Lisa.

You are all just the best! I so needed some kind words yesterday and wow did you guys come through. At one point my eyes were tearing up with the knowledge that I have friends like all of you. THANK YOU!!!!


Mandy I would happily bring you some snow- if only I could figure out how to get it there...you are welcome to come on up and feel the cold...although I can't imagine wanting to (maybe just once ) I've got sleds and snowpants for all the kids...ROAD TRIP!!!!

Kel- excited? awesome day? yeah- me too!!! I have my TV on in the classroom for the first time in a few years. I am not going to miss this.

Siobhan- those low crowd levels mean you can go get your obama scarf... you know you want to match Kelly on the plane ride.

Chan- don't feel bad about doing nothing yesterday. I realized at about 11pm that I meant to do a bunch of stuff and just forgot it all. Oh well, today is another day. LOL (Another day where my good intentions will be outweighed by my laziness.)

Is this snow ever going to end??? We got another couple inches last night and it's STILL snowing . When I was taking DS to school I was saying how pretty it is.......but I'm SICK OF WINTER ALREADY . How many days until spring.....are we under 60 yet ???

totally agree except I have to go out with my neighbor for bfast and she is NOT happy....this will not be a comfortable bfast. I am too tired to deal with her....but I have to go anyway.

Well, no snow for us - just rain. My kids were bummed but they get to watch the Inaugaration at school today.

I just got back from Target and I saw 3 other people so Siobhan , I think you are right about it being an uncrowded shopping day!

Wendy I'm sorry about the rain, drive up to the border when the kids get out of school and let them play for a while. It is pretty, but I can see how you can get tired of it everyday. All the schools are closed today and I don't see how they are going to open tomorrow either.

Now, I am on hold with the airlines trying to see if someone has cancelled so I don't have to pay for FF miles to change my ticket!! ANNOYING!

She is always up at the crack of dawn....and she wanted to meet for bfast today...she expected me to be READY when Jo got on the bus....LOL...far from it. I don't move for a while...usually sit and have my coffee...and CHAT. Well...today I called her after Jo got on the bus and WOKE HER UP! whatever.....so we are meeting in a bit...I feel like TERRIBLE...I need coffee...but I will have it at the restaurant...

She is my neighbor that is doing naughty stuff and I don't feel like hearing her tales of woe...or maybe it's WHOAH...TMI. I have to be in an UP mood to deal with that.....and I am TIRED.

Good luck on the ticket!!! OK...must move...must get dressed....
