OH YES!!! Cuddly Duddly!! I always wanted a dog like him and now I have one!!!

What I remember most....is...Clutch Cargo!!! Nothing moved but their lips!! That used to weird me out.

I kinda remember Garfield Goose...but not as much....I used to hate that section where the Irish peeps would sing...that wacky song and they'd show the zoo...if my kids weren't bugging me now about what jacket to wear walking out the door to Target I'd think of the words because it's annoyed me for years!!! OH!!! "THE GREEN ALIGATORS AND LONG ....bleh blah....HUNKY WHATEVER AND AND SOME CHImPANZEES"..... EEK!!!

Just popped in to say HI...wow what a quiet day....everyone must be at the outlets shopping

Did you decide to book the 4/3 deal for your winter break??? Whats one more trip
I decided that I wanted to be in a CL room in June and you're not going to believe it but I had to change my trip by one day and could only get SL no RPC available!!! WTH... I would have thought that a GV would be booked up first???

I've never stayed RPC before was kind of looking foward to it...Oh well I do like SL...

I have some time and I'll just keep checking...

Chan.....I've been around all day just vegging out by the fireplace as it's been absolutely FREEZING here . DH went hunting this afternoon and DS15 went to a friend's house until about 6:00.....it was just me and DS13 home from about noon-6:00.....so it was a very quiet and relaxing day .


BlueSkies......WTG on booking SL . I priced out RPC and thought about booking that for our June trip, but decided I'd take the savings and go with GV and possibly book RPC in December '09 . Enjoy your time in SL .

Hi I'm here too. I have been on the net trying to shop. I have been looking for a pettiskirt for my daughter. Those things are so dang expensive I can't break down and just buy one. My son is so cheap and easy to dress. Today he was outside playing in a pair of camo pants that are a season too small for him. He doesn't care. Poor kid he looked so pitiful - cute but those pants are pitiful sad Since they were playing in the dirt I told my daughter she had to put a pair of Jack's pants on...all of hers are still too nice! She agreed, but I had to find a navy bow to match the pants. It was pretty funny.

I would keep checking for RPC to open up. You have a few months...someone will cancel

Deb What a nice way to spend the day Is gotten cold here too!!! I'm doing Maxie's countdown to spring.....

I figured with saving so much with the 4/3 package I'd just go and book SL ...But GV is great too...its the GF... I think RPC at Christmas time will be incredible (but so will the price... ) Hopefully you'll get a nice deal for then...or you can visit SL and see if you like there...

Hi Traci Youre right boys are so much easier to dress than girls UNTIL they get to be teens and start to be picky...play clothes and pretty bows for your DD...love it!

I need to get some stuff done for tomorrow...want to start the week on the right foot...

Hi, Blue! Wow though that is awesome you wound up with SL! YES..people are changing their minds all the time. Last week when I was thinking about March RPC was not available...then on a whim I checked and it was....but no...I don't think it will be a go. I have friends in AZ that want to meet in Disneyland. Keeping things on hold for now. THe flights are horrid and not sure about mr 18 yr old...... He won't want to go to CA.....or WDW.....not sure...i need a baby sitter for him. Keep checking the availability...hopefully you'll get rpc!!

Hi, Traci! You all were so quiet today I was getting spooked!! That is so not like you guys.

I ran errands, did a little work around here....hung out...read....nothing much...it was just so quiet here at home (strange but true) and here and even my emails!!!!! It was kind of lonely today! That is so cute about Avery in Jack's clothes for play. But with the hairbow!!!

Deb...I had that kinda day too!! BUt it didn't feel right! I am so used to kids coming and going and playful kid sounds....something was "off" today. Is it a full moon?? And then it SNOWED....I am talkin' real snow...the kind that sticks. My dog was out howling at coyotes...and she does NOT make a sound normally but they get her going....them and the deer...and I switched on the light and saw her covered in snow! And lucy and i had to get the patio furniture cushions in!! We are kinda late!!! WE haven't done the yard work yet either.....winter snuck up on us.

Chan you must of come on right after I left....My DH was surprised that I was already away from the computer! But no one was here and I didnt think anyone would come so I said okay, goodbye!

DD has a half day ! Is there any reasoning to this, no! She did go see HSM3 yesterday...She said she liked it better than the 2nd but not as good as the 1st! She is 7 so take it for what it is worth!

Channing- The coyotes are soo bad out here right now. I am scared to death to let my little yorkie out. I turn on all the lights outside and watch her. Dh saw a bunch in the field the other night and you can hear them howl. Freaks me out.

I survived the busy weekend. I ate way too much yesterday at our family Thanksgiving dinner. UGH...tis the season to gain weight!

Morning All


Just popping in before taking DS to school . I was wondering just like the rest of you gals where everyone was yesterday . I checked a few times and never saw anything going on so I thought everyone had a busy Sunday . It was just one of those days for me......it was very cold and dreary all day and then it started to snow . It was nice not to leave the house.....but then I didn't have my chat gals to keep me company either .


Traci......how cute about Jack and the camo pants......and then Avery wearing Jack's pants with a hair bow.....too cute .


Chan.......We had snow too......I can't stand it . The news this morning said 6-12 inches within the next 24 hours for parts of NW Indiana (that's me ) and into Michigan . But Chicago shouldn't get much if any........so you may be saved from any more right now . DS went nuts when I told him because he can't wait to get on his snowmobile......and DH isn't much better......he acts worse than our 13 year old when it comes to his toys .


Hi to everyone else . I'll be back after I take DS to school.....but I have to get my coffee first .

BlueSkies.......Out of curiosity I checked availability on the deal for our dates and the only things available are GV, TPV, and SL .....when up until the other day ALL room categories were available . And there's still another month left to book . I'm hoping for some kind of deal for December '09 because it would be great to save a little if we decide to go with RPC . Although we really love the WL too.....especially during the holidays.......and that's a significant savings between the two . So I'm really torn.....and DH doesn't care either way.....so it's all up to me .


Vanessa......Isn't that what Thanksgiving dinners are all about.....eating way too much . I hope you had a nice dinner with your family . I can't believe your trip is almost here.....how exciting .


Kristin.......Are you getting packed and ready to go?? I lost count of the days for you....how many left ?

V -- we have a coyote problem, too. One of them took off one of the weenie dogs in the neighborhood a few months ago. The owner was standing on the front porch drinking coffee when it happened. He started chasing the coyote and jumping fences following it. The coyote did thankfully drop the dog, and it wasn't hurt. They now take their dogs out on leashes.

My youngest son doesn't like to go out after dark now. The coyotes have been getting more and more brave and come up almost within our fenceline. We haven't seen them in a while, so I'm hoping they moved on or something else happened.

I was in a baking mood yesterday afternoon. I put the square snap pretzels on a lined cookie sheet, place a hershey kiss on top, put it in the oven for 3 minutes. Take them out and put a m&m on top, pushing it down just a little into the kiss. Put them in the fridge for 20 minutes and then eat them. It is a different taste, you get the salty of the pretzel, then the sweet of the chocolate. I sent some with DH to work, and I brought some to my office too. Hope everyone has a good day - Lisa.

Morning!

Lisa thanks for that morning treat! That sounds yummy!! I love salty and I love sweet. My kids would like that & it's easy enough that I can just tell the girls what to do and they are on their own.

Coyotes.....They ARE getting more aggressive. My neighbor came over and told me to be careful of my girls.....the coyotes cornered his German Shepherd. They had her surrounded and he went out and had to yell and throw stuff to get them to move. CREEPY. We only have the pool fenced. The rest of the yard is surrounded by forest. Tatum is the most quiet peaceful dog but she sits out at the edge of the deck and WATCHES the woods. She gets herself going when they howl. It is a really chilling sound.

I missed ya all yesterday!!! It was just eerily quiet here and at home.

Deb!! I heard you are in for it today. Lake effect snow......omg...i just cannot believe it's here. My neighbor called and doesn't want to walk. Can't blame her. I hope the sun comes out later.....I'll go & maybe talk her into it...right now it's cold and gray out. At least your guys enjoy the snow!! We don't. We used to....now we are summer people.

I thought I read that...I remeber being kinda bummed we didn't get to sit down and check in as I had read. Is that the norm or not? If not, no bigge - I'm just curious.

Traci, I bet you stayed before they had their new "system"....now they have somebody with a clipboard greet you at the curb and take you up to your room to check you in. HOnestly I haven't done it because we've just gone up to the 3rd floor to check in with them. But you shouldn't have to go to any front desk if you're staying CL there.

Chan.....OMG.......I am dying about all the snow we're supposed to get . DH and DS couldn't be more excited but I DON'T WANT SNOW . And 6-12 inches is ALOT of snow . You gals are lucky up there in Chicago .....that lake effect snow is a killer here in NW Indiana .


Traci......I can't help you about RPC check in as I've never stayed RPC .....but you're so cute wondering about that .

That is too funny about yesterday. Seems everyone was around, but nobody was talking. I checked a couple of times too and nothing going on and didn't think anyone was here. I've been cleaning and doing the unmentionable, or can we talk about it again. It is cold here too. The dog is in her crate and she is still quiet so I'm leaving her there. I don't want to take her out. I tried to book the KTTK tour and they were full. I think I'll call sometime today and see if anyone cancelled. We have coyotes too, and deer, a couple of foxes and every now and then a whole bunch of turkeys come through. We have lots of land for the dog to run in, but we can't let her loose because of the wild animals. The coyotes come and go, but you never know when they will be around. Several years ago we had a yellow lab and we used to let him run at night, and he came home one night with his stomache ripped open. Had to take him to the vet at midnight. We didn't see what got him, but we couldn't let him run after that.

SNOW please don't send any this way.
