That is too funny about yesterday. Seems everyone was around, but nobody was talking. I checked a couple of times too and nothing going on and didn't think anyone was here. I've been cleaning and doing the unmentionable, or can we talk about it again. It is cold here too. The dog is in her crate and she is still quiet so I'm leaving her there. I don't want to take her out. I tried to book the KTTK tour and they were full. I think I'll call sometime today and see if anyone cancelled. We have coyotes too, and deer, a couple of foxes and every now and then a whole bunch of turkeys come through. We have lots of land for the dog to run in, but we can't let her loose because of the wild animals. The coyotes come and go, but you never know when they will be around. Several years ago we had a yellow lab and we used to let him run at night, and he came home one night with his stomache ripped open. Had to take him to the vet at midnight. We didn't see what got him, but we couldn't let him run after that.

SNOW please don't send any this way.

How sad about your lab . We see coyotes around here sometimes and they totally freak me out . We have a yellow lab and I'm always afraid he will see a coyote and go after it......and we all know what would happen there . We also see LOTS of deer which is nice .

Speaking of my pup......well, not so much a pup unless you call a 105 lb. lab a pup ......I better get going because I have to run out and get him some food since this morning used the last of it . You gals have a nice afternoon . TTYL

We have a lot of coyotes around us as well. Our big dog goes and "patrols" around our property when they are out; he lives outside and gets too agitated to come in when they start howling. My little dog has to stay in with us when we hear them, howling, Just in case

Hi all!

Lisa I do a variation of that....A pretzel with a Rolo candy and either a pecan, cashew or m and m on top! Yummy!

All that coyote talk is making me glad we don't have them here...Well at least I don't think we do!

traci...I have checked in both ways...Let me tell you the front desk check in was not a pleasant one! I felt jipped! (sp?) The gave me a room key and that was it! I was like..Ummm isn't anyone going to accompany me to my room? After the usual oh oh response someone did come with me and thank God they did because the room keys didn't work! They had to call someone because their key didn't even work! Heads would have rolled if I had to walk back to the front desk!

Chan I looked and saw you were on skype but thought you might be busy!

Kids are home and I have to get them out!

Sorry to disappoint you blueskies, but it is 123. Can't come soon enough for me. I was just out with the dog and it is cold. I have to find my gloves. I always stick them somewhere in the spring because I don't want to see them again, then I can never find them when I need them. It's not supposed to get out of the 30's this week. Guess I need to look for my ice scraper too.

On our last trip that we stayed CL they were out front with their clip boards...and a nice warm greeting... gotta love that GF...

Hello! I check in on this thread every once in a while and I thought you all might be interested in this. I need to cancel my trip reservation for the GF Sugarloaf 11/29-12/7. I just thought before I cancel with my AAA agent,I might post the info here in case someone might want to quick pick up the open room. I know Sugarloaf is booked solid. I would think they could transfer the reservation easily enough to someone else. I did receive a AAA rate but I don't know if they would honor that.

Before I call my agent I wanted to ask here first. I would love it if someone else would be happy getting this reservation. Let me know if I can help someone.

Anytime I click to go to the most recent post, it brings up the last post as being one that was another day and time.....not current.....when I know there is a current one ? I thought maybe something was goofy on my end but I am having the hardest time getting current posts on a regular basis . And it's not just our chat thread......it's others as well. Is there something with the Dis site itself or could it just be me ?

Deb Here is what I have to say about Mondays...

No problems going to the most recent post here but last week my ticker kept playing a dissappearing act remember How about the multi quoting...didnt you have a problem with that recently also....

Dont you hate when that happens ...especially since we have become multi quote pros...

Dont feel bad about your PM box I always have lots of room in mine too...

I took them last Thanksgiving. The yacht was just sittin' there and i asked this nice guy if I could take pics and he let us on. Although the girls were total posers....If I had been thinking straight I would have left them on the dock.

I was in a baking mood yesterday afternoon. I put the square snap pretzels on a lined cookie sheet, place a hershey kiss on top, put it in the oven for 3 minutes. Take them out and put a m&m on top, pushing it down just a little into the kiss. Put them in the fridge for 20 minutes and then eat them. It is a different taste, you get the salty of the pretzel, then the sweet of the chocolate. I sent some with DH to work, and I brought some to my office too. Hope everyone has a good day - Lisa.

We make these every year! They are so good and easy, too , aren't they? I got the recipe off of the Quick and Easy Christmas Treats thread on the Budget Board. There are tons of great recipes for the holidays on there if anybody needs some!
