Hey Gals 
Well....I have an update on the infamous Shakespeare report and the wack-job teacher situation
. DS came home last Thursday and started looking for something in his backpack and folders 
. He looked confused and mumbled something about how he thought it was in there . So I asked him what he was looking for and he said he got his Shakespeare paper back....but he couldn't find it 
. OK....so I'm asking him all sorts of questions about it....especially what his grade was....and he said he couldn't remember for sure because she passed them back, then had to recollect them because she FORGOT to put the grades in the gradebook 
....then she handed them back a second time and DS said he put it in his binder but couldn't find it 
. ANYWAY....DS said there was no letter grade on it, just a number....and he said it was either a 70 or 79.....WHAT????? 
!!!! He looked frantically for the next 15 minutes but couldn't find that dumb report . So Friday morning I emailed the teacher and told her DS misplaced the graded paper and could she email me his grade. She emailed back that he got 136/195.......70%.......C- 
.....so that started round #2 
. I took her email and forwarded it to the principal and told him there is no way this paper was a C- paper and that DS (along with myself helping him ) put in alot of time on this and there was no way it warranted a C- . I told him I wasn't expecting an A+.....but it definitely wasn't a 70% paper . He emailed me back Monday and said he wasn't in school Friday but got my email and would talk to the teacher about it. DS came home yesterday and said the principal talked to him and told him I emailed him and he knew the graded paper had been misplaced but that I had a copy of the original report.....so he told DS to have me send that with him today so he can look it over against the teacher's requirements and go from there . I guess the wacko told him I answered the questions but I didn't answer what was asked.....WTH????? 
. This may sound terrible but I think DS accidentally left the report in her class and she noticed it after he left and is keeping it thinking there's nothing I can do about his grade if I don't have what she counted off on . I can be TOTALLY wrong on this.....but this woman is nasty and I wouldn't be surprised at anything she did. Now I guess I wait to see what the principal says after reading the report and comparing it to the guidelines 
. DS even asked his other teachers if he mistakenly left it in their classrooms....but none of them have seen it 
. I guess a student could have found it and is keeping it for when he/she has this class because the kids who are yet to have it are already talking about how much they are dreading doing this stupid report . So the saga continues . Why can't kids just go to school and learn anymore

You need to DIS a little every day...... I know it keeps me sane! I am confused about you renewing through the military and all that but as long as you know what going on I guess that is all that matters!

. But we're going in July too and it won't get here too soon 
...It's funny you mention the rain because I was just saying last night that we don't see any rain for the longest stretch of time....and then it starts coming down in buckets and won't stop
