Hi

I have seen Davina McCall at a Snowboarding/skiing festival in London. She was buying some ski wear. I really wanted to ask for her autograph but I was too shy and embarrased.

I have seen Michael Jordan walking down the stairs at Planet Hollywood Orlando with 2 big security men. Did not think they could get any bigger than Michael Jordan :lmao:

Have you met any celebs? Encountered any of them being rude? Or do you know anyone famous?

We know Mick Cawston - a popular wildlife artist :sunny:
Also Ingrid Pitt and Caroline Monroe (both appeared in Hammer Horror movies)

DH has met Patrick Moore and Gary Rhodes :thumbsup2

Not sure about anyone else :)

Bumped into John Noakes in Oxford just after he'd left Blue Peter.

Shared a flight to Miami with Danny La Rue and an hour with him in the immigration queue at the airport. Very charming and entertaining - probably the shortest "hour" I'd ever spent in a queue. When my mother found out that I didn't get his autograph she gave me a good telling off!

DH chased down David Bellemy for his autograph and has Brookes Mileson (owner of Gretna FC). thats about it for us oh and I meet David Duchovney a few years back  . but thats about it for us

Saw Danger, sorry, DAVID James in Starbucks last year.
Also have met Patrick Barber (Denzil from Only Fools And Horses, has been in other stuff too) He used to live near my mum when he was a kid and went to my grandad's for cups of tea sometimes before he passed away. He was invited to the funeral but couldn't make it due to work commitments.
I'm sure i've seen some Hollyoaks/Brookside people and not realised, everyone else I know here in Liverpool seems to have done! :teeth:

Our next door neighbour is in Emmerdale.Very nice family.

Had Gary Rhodes cook dinner for us on Arcadia in April, he then came out after he'd finished cooking and spent about 10 minutes with every table. The food was outstanding.

Met Richard Branson when we got an invite to a garden party at his Oxfordshire house last year - he was really nice.

met Robbie Williams in a pub in Stoke, got my piccie with him, and a kiss on the cheek, he asked me was I wearing Issey Myake perfume, never worn anything else ever since, how sad, we checked our lottery numbers together, I haven't recovered since !!

DH claim to faim was that he is a cousin to Michelle wife of Gary Lineker, but now they have split up thats gone out the window !!

I sold a newspaper and cigarettes to Peter O'Toole as walked from the Holiday Inn to the Leicester Haymarket theatre.

Tom Hulse (Amadeus) sold me a "Sports Aid" T-shirt in in the Virgin Megastore in London.

Liz Hurley keeps asking me to marry her.

The first two are true ... I wish the third was ;)

Am I admitting this in public? Through my DH I am in some strange way related to Daniel O'Donnell. Please don't kick me off the boards. :rotfl2:

Hi

Mostly footballers Im afraid and this year has been a good one. I went to the cup final in May and met Ray Clemence, John Aldridge, Ronnie Whelen, MArk Lawrenson, Andy Gray, Claudio Raneri, Guiellem Balliga, (spanish sky sports bloke) Andy Townsend, Statto, Martyn Tyler.

And 3 weeks back we were at Ruda caravan park in Devon and sitting opposite in the club, not 6 feet from us was James Cracknall.

Cheers

Steve

PS, I work with a bloke who does a couple of days a week, he is 69, during his national service in singapore in the 50's. he saw and met John Wayne in a club, WOW! The Duke! how cool is that

i used to be an agent so got to meet many many celebs...way too many to list.. (although i do have a photo with me and cynthia payne saying, that she has signed saying "to sam, sorry I lost one of my best girls"

My singing teacher (and best friend) had a tv series a year or two ago on BBC1..does that make him famous!?

My brothers best friend used to be Peter O toole's son Lorcan... so it was kind of wierd picking up the phone and hearing Mr O Toole's famous tones!
My mother used to go out with Brian Cant.. (about 40 years ago!)

One day I was organising a party for someone at the Ivy in London. i was staying at my boyfriends house for the weekend, and so I had left my number with some people I had difficulty getting hold of, so they could ring me over the weekend.

After the third or fourth telephone call from someone vaguely famous (I cant remember who now, apart from one was Ruth madoc) to his number he got very cross with me and shouted "WILL YOU STOP GIVING MY NUMBER TO CELEBRITIES!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

that was sooooo funny!

Ah those were the days!! :)

Passed George Clooney on the escalators in Harrods. He was going up we were going down, and I was looking around seeing where to go next and not at the people on the other escalator.DH was saying "there's that Dr from ER you know, erm, erm, erm" by time he remembered the name we were at the bottom, George was at the top. So I saw his rear end :rotfl:
