I have my bouquet that has been dried. We have all our cards, wedding topper, some ribbon from the gifts, a wedding invitation and best of all some confetti! :)

What did you keep from your wedding day and when was the last time you looked at any of them?

I have my wedding topper and John's wedding topper, I have my garter and my bouquet (I had it made out of artificial flowers so I could have it forever) and of course my ring and after much deliberation and thinking I decided to keep my husband;) :)

I have invitations, rice, bubbles, decorations, cake topper, the jewlery I wore, and of course my dress :)

Oh Poo Beth, you stole my line! I too was going to say that I kept my husband! (Great minds think alike!) :teeth:

I have my dress, shoes, slip, invite, toasting goblets, feathered pen, guest book, garter, nightie, and all the gift cards & gifts & our beautiful cake topper is displayed in my china cabinet.

I can't remember the last time I looked at any of that stuff (well, aside from my husband that is!) Someday I hope to share it with my DS's fiancees! Of course that should be a while down the road since one DS is 7 & the other is 16 months old!

Our cake topper, toasting goblets and knives are in the china cabinet.

I have our wedding album which I keep in a cedar chest.

I also have a memory box that has all our cards, invitation, receipts, guest book, and ribbon. I pull this out about once a year and look at it. We also have the wedding on video and I look at that about once a year as well.

This year we celebrate #13. Nice to have these wonderful memories to look back on.

Our goblets and some of the decorations, all the cards that we received. Our topper got broken when we moved into our house in 2000. Couldn't believe it, we must have moved 10 times or so while we were renting and when we finally have a "home" for it it gets broken:( Oh well when we have our 20th we want to get married again and maybe I can get a minnie and mickey one.;)

I have my dried bouquet, invitation, dress/veil , jewelry, favors, goblets, guest book, cards, video, and photos. :)

I have my bouquet in a dome in our living room. It is made of wax flowers and very heavy. I see it every day. I also have our wedding album out where I can look at it often.

Our groom's cake topper was the topper from my grandmother and grandfather's 50th wedding anniversary. When my grandmother passed away it was handed down to me. It's the bride and groom from Precious Moments and I think of them every time I see it.

I also have a scrapbook full of cards somewhere, but I haven't seen it in years.

There is a video of our wedding that we watch every few years.

The crystal handled cake knife and server that we used at the reception were a wedding gift. We use them when we have a birthday or other special occassion.

Our tables were decorated with ferns and clay doves that guests could take home. I still have several of the doves in a glass case in my bedroom. My MIL still has the fern that was on her table. It's huge!

I still have my wedding rings, but I don't usually wear them. I wear my great-grandmother's wide wedding band that was handed down to me by my mother. My father died several years ago and it somehow makes me feel good that I wear his grandmother's ring.

And of course, I still have my wonderful husband. Without him all the rest wouldn't mean anything to me.

We've been married 13 years. Last summer I threw out cards and all my wedding planning stuff I'd saved. I still have a wedding album, guest book/memory book, my dress and the earrings I wore. The dried bouquet got thrown away the last move about 5 years ago.

I didn't keep nearly enough stuff. I was young and dumb. Oh well, I did keep the fella and he's turned out to be worth keeping ;)

i have my dh, our memory book, cake topper, my dress, my headband, the ribbion i wove through headband, earrings, shoes, invites, thank you note, rsvp card. a headache thankls to my moh. also have ring bearer pillow and cake knife and server.

I kept the left over invitations, and response cards,
I ofcourse have my dress, shoes, everything I wore (veil..etc)

Hoever, we left the reception and never took our champagne glasses, cake knifes, or the top cake to have on our 1st anniversary!
I dont have my bouquet either...

I did keep the man! :)

5 year anniversary in June! :)

I wish I would have kept more of the stuff, but I have the wedding album and the video, that is the best way to relive the day... or just look at my dh everyday!!!!!!! :)

Laura :)

We have all the typical stuff, flowers, cake topper, garter, etc... but one momento really stands out. There was one table full of my cousins, both from different sides of the family. They ended up having a great time together and got a little crazy, LOL. At one point they were throwing a plate around the dance floor(I had a wild wedding). It became "the plate". Well, they took one of the place cards, and everyone from that table signed it and stuck it to the plate. A few weeks after the wedding I received "the plate" in the mail. :teeth:

I lost a few things in some moves over the years, but I still have my gown, wedding album, some invitations, tour wedding video, the knife we cut our cake with, and our bride & groom goblets.

LOL, I kept everything but the man.

Just remembered that we also have the cork from the bottle that was used for the bridal toast, our place cards from the table, and a silver horseshoe that my Mum gave me. :)

It will be 34 yrs for me in October. I have a box of momento's in my hope chest. I have my dress and veil in a box in a closet. And my husband is still around.

We'll be married 19 years in September, but somewhere packed away I have my wedding gown, slip, guest book, invitations, and my cake top. I actually pulled out my cake top over the weekend; one of the girls at work is getting married and wanted to see mine - it's got the groom trying to run away and the bride is holding on to his coat tails. :DAfter 19 years, it's still in pretty good shape!

My dress, veil and slip (the slip has been used by 2 of my sisters and one SIL, so far.) I look at the box that the dress is in occasionally. It is in DS's closet, as is the veil. The slip is in a green garbage bag in the attic.

We have our trumpet flutes from Tiffanys, the Lenox cake server, and our wedding candle that we burn for 15 minutes each anniversary. We have our guest book and feather pen. We had my bouquet and his boutinier (sp?) dried and pressed and arranged in a picture frame. It is displayed in our dining room and we see it each day.

We have a 16X20 framed picture of us from our wedding day on display in our family room and a photo of me and my Gramma on display in our dining room. I miss Gramma so much.

We watch our video each year on our anniversary and our photo album comes out less frequently as the years pass. I may just take it out tonight to show the kids again.

I also have the beautiful Lladro B&G figurine that my DH gave me as a wedding gift displayed in a curio cabinet.

I keep DH around, too. He'd be lost without me. ;)

Serena, I with ya....
The dried out bouquet was thrown out when we moved 3 years after the wedding. I think the cake topper went with it, but it was nothing special. After 14 years of marriage the gown was stuffed into the bin at the local Salvation Army store. Rings are in a drawer, album is under the dresser (the girls would be crushed if that was gone, so I save it for them). And the groom has a place of his own.
