I was just wondering if anyone has gotten an email from them yet? I figured they are so busy saving us all that money, that they havent had time to email me. We are staying 10 nights, hoppers, plus and dining. Anyone have any idea how much I will save? Thanks

I heard from Beth at DU. I didn't get a discount at POFQ for my stay. Not happy about it. She gave me a couple other options but we may just stay put. Good luck!

I heard from my agent Shirley very early yesterday. She applied the AP discount for my reservations automatically - December 2 at POR and December 8 & 9 at the Poly.

I had recently booked and had e-mailed my agent Sam on Tuesday to ask if she could book my CP package yesterday morning. I sent her a quick note early yesterday morning to see if she would be able to do this for me (before we knew codes would be released also). She emailed me back later yesterday and said not only did she get the package I needed but had also secured the AP discount. She said she was back on the phone with Disney again for other clients and would be sending out e-mails with all the details later. I really appreciated the quick note so I could quit biting my nails!!!!!. I haven't heard anything since but I am sure she is still really busy.

This is the first time I haven't made all of the plans myself and I am having a really hard time loosening up the reins but since this is a surprise trip, I think it will make things easier than trying to do it myself on the sly.

I also got an email from Beth this morning. She said no discount for our current ressie at ASMo and that was a bummer... gave me the option of POP or Sports with a $332 discount for the code discount. Or AKL for $600 more. Let her know we would take the POP discount but havn't heard back yet. Probably didn't have time that late in the afternoon with all of the changes being made today. Hope she gets it first thing in the morning

I have emailed her about 8 times sence then and she has been very quick to get back to me. There were no discounts for us at ASMO so we upgraded to CSR. Which was were I really wanted to stay from the start. It was only $400 more, Today we added a grand gathering, fireworks cruise and then also MVMCP. Not to mention my DB, DSIL, DN, DN, this is going to be so much more fun.

Keep in mind that when discounts are released like this it can take your agent a bit of time to respond to emails as they are diligently trying to get client pages updated and emails out regarding discounts that were obtained.
Periods when discounts are released are a time when it can take agents quite a bit longer to get email responses back to you than at normal times. That is because they are doing everything to make sure that their clients are taken care of with the best rates possible.
I'm sure you will hear back from your agent, and if you have not, send her another email to make sure she got your first one (if it has been more than 48 hours since sending your original email.)

Hope everyone was successful in getting the pricing/resorts they were looking for. This set of discounts proved to be a bit of a challenge as there was VERY limited availability at certain resorts and over certain dates.

Ok we heard back from the TA

She has given several quotes yesteday afternoon and today... Not sure that they work for us since we have booked a better (possibly) deal w/ CRO

Apparently there was more problems with the computer system at disney ....go figure...

Anywho...decisions decisions decisions

Things seem to be booked up for the first week of December
there is not much available.... Hopefully the extra magic hours will help though

I had so much trouble wiht my DU agent, I cancelled the trip (lost the insurance) and rebooked myself, and STILL saved over 1000$. She kept adding things on I didnt as for, park hopper, no expiration, etc, and was appauled that I wanted to change my ressie to the GF becuase that would just be "so expensive"
I hate to say negative things about anyting disney related, but it was a dissapointment to be told over and over I couldnt do what I wanted, when the disney agents let me do it just fine, and for less.
