Have you had your FP+ Selections Disappear

Just curious based on the other thread how frequently this has been happening and how Disney is handling it.

Did not vote but sometimes when I log into MDE they are not there. I just refresh page and they appear. So I just think the system times out and puts up an error message. They have never fully disappeared on me.

I had one disappear on me this morning when I logged in -- and its gone. But I took a screen shot at the time I made them and when I spoke to a super nice guy at IT said he'll make notes on my file and to go see Guest Services with my screen shot when I get there to see if they can help.

I agree with Dancing Queen. I've just refreshed the FP page or gone to Dining page and then back to FP page. They've always reappeared.

The stories that I've read seem to have the disappearance occur after a change to the reservation/package. I'm hoping that nothing disappears after we make the final trip payment. I printed out my FP selections and will check them ASAP after final payment.

I've made probably 30 days of FP+ selection over the past 9 months or so, and have never had a single one disappear on me.

They used to not delete correctly sometimes (change one attraction for another, and both attraction still show up in MDE), but these ghost FastPasses have not seemed to occur recent.

We just got back and we only had one problem with FP+. Somehow, our 7DMT FP got split up. I made the reservation for all 4 of us for the same time but somehow my FP was for one time and the rest of my family for a later time. I had checked our FP many many times to make sure all was correct, so I can't imagine what happened. We had already ridden on an earlier day, so no biggie.

Yes. My DH's and my DD's dissapeared 3 days in a row. Three days on the phone with IT.

I was able to get back everything all 3 times except 7DMT and was told. "It's popular and sells out, sorry"

I logged out and logged back in and sometimes they showed up right away. Another time it took a couple of days. I have never called about it.

I just booked my FP+ for my next trip. I find myself wondering how many times things will disappear and reappear before my trip. Sigh.

I hate how unreliable the system is.

voted "no" I should mention that over 3 trips with FP+ (November, January, May) - none of our FP+ have ever disappeared. Now that I've said that I've probably doomed our next trip

The one set of stories about FP+ disappearing that concerned me greatly were the ones from those that did not[ /B] make a change to their reservations. It seems that for some, the FP+s became unattached to their current reservation and instead floated off to some other "account" that they created by having entered another Disney network contest, etc. This makes me nervous, because in the years prior to FP+, I entered many Disney contests, entered my 2 email addresses in Disney websites in the hopes of getting those elusive pins, etc.

Don't know how frequently it does happen, but so far, my FP+s for my upcoming August trip are fine and they were fine for my January 2014 trip.

So, in the end, did they always reappear? How long were they in "disappearance" mode?

I voted no. We had a trip in Nov that had no glitches at all, including FP+, room charges, park admissions, hotel entry.

I made all of our FP+ for our trip in a few weeks, I made changes to them and never had one disappear.

So far so good for us.

I voted no, since we had no problems with FP+ last year.

However, my 60-day point is coming up and I'm a bit concerned. DH and I have already decided that if things go awry, we will just cancel. So I'm tossing around a few Plan B trip ideas.

I don't mind the planning at 180 days, 60 days, etc. I don't even mind staying up until midnight/1:00 for FP+ reservations. But I DO mind the idea of doing the legwork, and then having the rug pulled out from under me due to what is assuredly a preventable error.

Until the bug(s) is/are fixed, Disney needs to provide a workaround. Some acceptable evidence of reservation and a consistent route to having everything restored.

I was looking at my FP selections about a week after I made them, I noticed that my Anna and Elsa FP's had been changed to the other princesses at Fairytale Hall. Luckily I had made an additional Anna and Elsa FP for another day, and they were still intact.

OMG FP+ threads have hundreds of posts about worst case scenarios and demands to admit that FP are disappearing left and right and flowers for the victims, etc...

Yet, only 8 people TOTAL on all the DIS can say their FPs actually disappeared legitimately. Out of 619 views.
