Have you gotten a COVID vaccine?

Pfizer #2 on the books!:cool1: I got emotional this time. So happy to be fully vaccinated. This one hurt though. Felt every second of it when I barely felt the first. Maybe her technique but she was nicer than the first one, congratulated me and gave me a sticker so it was a decent trade off. I’ll update with any side effects.

Got my 2nd Pfizer dose first thing this morning. So far, same as my first dose, arm felt like it had been poked with a needle for a little while, but fine now. Hoping that's it, but at least I have the weekend to recoup from any other effects.

I'm bummed that I didn't get a sticker, though!

I had my 2nd Pfizer shot Monday around 0930 and it was stinging from the time it happened. I finally got rid of brain fog and fatigue yesterday. (I was thankful because first time I was presenting in person for 3 hours in over a year) but I still have covid arm and I have several blister breakouts on my arm and even some fever blisters but at least no more arm pain. I told my husband if I'm about to turn into an X men person it better be a hot one and powerful one like Storm.

Kinda weird isn't it but the sticker is like a "Yay!" kind of moment so I get being bummed

Ours was like this:

In lieu of putting up my CDC card on FB while blanking out the sensitive information I just put my sticker up. I know it can be the little things sometimes, like getting a dum dums sucker when I would go to the bank with my dad growing up lol.

Newer side effect for me every so often my arm itches right around where the second dose went in. Just started later on yesterday and continued today so far. Not a bad itch or constant just every now and then. At first I didn't really connect where I watch scratching then realized it was where the shot was done. I did report that on my v-safe daily report. It's not bad just thought I would mention it here.

Aww I would have loved to have themed bandaids!

No reason why you can't bring your own. When my kid got shots I'd occasionally bring some Disney Band-Aids. How about this?

I was bummed I didn’t get one with my first. I told my DD if it had been Disney I wouldn’t have hesitated to ask for one. 😂

Are stickers a thing? I didn't even get a band-aid.
Yes they are totally a thing! :teeth:

As far as a band aid the first dose the nurse asked "do you want one, I'm not seeing any bleeding but you can just in case" and I was like "yeah why not just in case", the person who did my husband's 1st dose just did it automatically. Both of our 2nd doses the nurses just did it automatically.

I hope I get a sticker with my second dose. I was kind of (half jokingly) dissapointed when the nurse said, "looks like you don't even need a band-aid."

My site gave buttons!

I already got one at my first shot (they were spread out on a table to take as you left) so I didn't ask for one at my second (they were in baskets at the nurse's stations).

I’ve been using a cloth purse lately, so I have it on that now.

Right at 12 hours and so far, I feel fine. Like nothing but a sore arm and even that is mild compared to the first shot. I did wake up way early and couldn’t go back to sleep but I blame that on the Gatorade. I was not really hungry last night which I attribute to drinking it all day so once I woke up my tummy was growling and I can’t sleep when I’m hungry. We’ll see what the rest of the day brings. I’d highly recommend the super hydration/Gatorade though it really seems to have helped. (Shot #1 I had headache, fatigue and brain fog for about 24hrs.)
