As for me, I posted a few updates from my second Moderna vaccine that I got on Friday. Arm pain is 99% gone...the swelling in that shoulder is still there (I guess I'll ice it or something) and I have a bit of splotchy redness, but nothing is really bothering me at this point. Very thankful.

I also got my 2nd moderna on Friday and I also have the red splotches on my arm. It doesn't itch or anything.

Yeah, I know it itches for some people...honestly I wouldn't know it was there if I hadn't looked. It happened to me with the first dose, too.

My MIL -90s- got her second Pfizer vac. Pretty much no side effects, except some bruising at vaccination site this time. She says she feels fine and I think very happy she has had it!

My second dose, scheduled for tomorrow, has been canceled due to the weather. They will contact me to reschedule. Stressful because they are predicting another big snow on Thursday-Friday. The clock is ticking. Ugh.

My parents got their second doses of the Moderna vaccine on Saturday at the Disneyland (parking lot) pod. No side effects for either of them. A lot more people there on Saturday than when we were there in January for their first shots. Just happy both are done. Hopefully in the next few months I can also get one.

Wow, I’m surprised that scheduling for first dose even goes out that far, as if they’re able to predict having availability into the future.

By mid-March, I hope the J&J vaccine will start to be slowly rolled out assuming their timing with regulatory and logistics goes smoothly.

I made mine Jan. 19 for Feb 27, so they do it out far.

I have neighbors over 75 who didn't jump on the opportunity when it was first offered and are now struggling to find an appointment.

I would think there is a good guestimate of when/how many vaccinations are available.

IMHO, if they would just make appointments for people, the stress level would go way down. For instance, if the appointment is made for the end of April, you know that by the end of May, you'll have both doses. And if they get more, they can contact people and ask if they would like to come in sooner. This nonsense of people stressed out trying to get the appointments can't be healthy.

It's worse than trying to get a reservation for a DVC Moonlight Magic event.

Morning after: Didn't sleep well due to the sore arm, kept rolling over on it I guess. Other than the sore arm just a slight headache so far.

I got my first Phizer vaccine on 1/29, getting my second one on Saturday, My arm was sore for 2-3 days afterwards, but that was the only side effect.

That's exactly how my symptoms were after my second dose. At almost exactly 24 hours after the shot, I got a fever (101) and just didn't feel good. It wasn't awful. I went to bed and woke up the next day feeling back to normal.

The flu shot hurt like CRAZY. Oh man.

This is the first time I have ever had any sort of a "reaction" to a vaccine, but it was more than worth it. My husband (mid-30s and healthy) got COVID last month and developed pericarditis as a result. He has an appointment with a cardiologist tomorrow...as a 35-year-old with no history of heart issues. As far as I know, the pericarditis will be resolved at some point, but still...it's mind-boggling that Mr. Ariel484 is still dealing with these issues a month after his COVID symptoms first started. I'll take a few hours of fatigue and body aches if it means I won't get this stupid virus.

My second dose which was scheduled for today (and canceled due to the weather) is now rescheduled for Thursday. I am relieved that it will be given only two days late. I think it should be fine.

Just got my second Pfizer shot in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
I had no reaction to the first. Hoping same for this one.
I parked the car at 12:25, had shot 12:42. UMM runs a very efficient site.

My husband is a teacher (SF Bay Area) and was able to schedule a next-day appointment at the new FEMA vaccination site in Oakland. He goes this morning! They already scheduled him for the second dose in 3 weeks.

Michigan teacher here who got my second Pfeizer shot yesterday, no pain, no reaction.

My parents, all seniors, all living in Wisconsin, have just gotten their first shots in the past few days. No reactions to date.
