Have you ever used Air Tran?

Just curious how many have used it and if they ever cancel your flights, or have any troubles with them.

Also, how soon can you pick your seats?

We use AirTran when we fly. We have never had a problem with them. We fly out of Flint, MI and have used AirTran to fly to Orlando, Tampa, Sarasota, and Atlanta.

You can reserve your seats 24 hours prior to your scheduled flight, unless you've booked first class. I usually check-in online 24 hours prior to our flight and have always gotten seats we've wanted.

I just recently flew Air Tran in November out of Detroit.
They were great!

We actually volunteered to get bumped (and got 2 free round trip tickets a piece!!)

They were VERY nice in Detroit!! I wasn't too happy with the gate attendents in Orlando, however we were a late flight out so they had probably been there ALL day!!

The service on-board was delightful! We actually ended up first class on the way down (thanks to the bump) and paid the 60 dollars to upgrade on the way home! It was well worth it!! The flight attendant even gave me extra rum becuase I commented about how much I like the bottle. (gotta love free drinks in 1st class!!)

I was a bit nerveous becuase I had never flow Air Tran before however it was AMAZING!!!

I will deffintly fly them again (even if I didn't have the free trips!!)

we always fly air tran, very satisfied, although they are notorious for changing flight times, even just a bit, make sure to check your flights again before you go.
