Onsite, and if so which resorts have you been to?

We have only ever been to one - AKL for two weeks. :smooth:

We were booked into staying in DXL just before 9/11 but they closed most of the resort down so we were upgraded, with a bit of persuasion on our part with Virgin, or we were going to cancel our booking with them! ;)

Yes, many times. CBR and WL before joining DVC and AKL and OKW MANY times since.

We honeymooned at the GF in 2000
Stayed at the Dolphin in 2001 and 2002
Stayed at the Swan in 2003 (we also stayed offsite during this trip since half of it was spent with DH's band for Magic Music Days...that experience made me vow that some how, some way, we will always stay on site!)

Our next trip will be in December 2005...hopefully onsite again! :)

We've stayed in these resorts, I put them in order of how much we liked them:

AKL
Swan
Yacht Club
DxL
Dolphin
All Stars Music
Poly

The only other onsite resorts I really have a desire to stay in are GF and WL. One day. :)

CR & WL!

Now, while dd is small, we stay near MK. When she's older, I'd like to try BC or YC.

Only since joining DVC

VWL 2 times

OKW in November

Onsite growing up with my parents we always satyed at the Contemporary.

I have on my own (or with friends) stayed at the old Dixie Landings 2X, Port Orleans 1X, and the Polynesian.

Staying at Pop Century in Dec.

I will be staying off site a lot as my BF has taken over his mothers Time Share which gives us an off site condo for 7 days each year. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the parks from it!

We usually stay on-site. I've stayed at ASSp, ASM, PO, Poly, WL, Contemp, Caribbean Beach, Ft. Wilderness, Boardwalk, Yacht Club, OKW, Golf Resort (SoG now), and Dixie Landings. This is since I was about 5, in 1978. (I've also done the Hilton and the Howard Johnson's (Courtyard now) at the Village, and maybe one more that's a new name now.

I did off site this past May and I now remember why I don't like it, personally (I know there are some that do and that's fine). I've tried to do the Beach Club, but could never get in. Someday. And one day I will stay at GF... ah, someday! :)

It would be nice to say I've actually stayed at all of them some day. That's my goal. I don't have too far to go, anyway.

Our first on site resort was Dixie Landings in 2000. We'd always stayed at Vistana before that (owned there since 1988). While there we became DVC members and now stay at BWV and BCV. I hate when we have to stay offsite.

We stayed at the All Star Movies resort back in 2000 and in 2001 - have stayed off-site for 2002 and 2003 trips, but looking into the Pop Century resort for 2005 :)

I have only stayed onsite once, at what was then called Dixie Landings, and enjoyed it very much. Since then have purchased an offsite timeshare, but will probably later combine some stays with a couple extra days at a WDW resort.

I've stayed at the CBR. The only other places I want to stay on property are the AKL (thanks in part to snoopy's review) and POR, because I hear it's like the CRB, only with a different atmosphere. But I'd stay at the All Stars if the price was right! I love staying on property. It's just easier and less stressful than staying off property. :)

Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside.

We stayed onsite when I was a kid, Ft. Wilderness...boy there are some stories there! We stayed at CBR the last time we went. I want to stay at the Poly next time we go!

I have only been to WDW once last summer for 2 weeks and we stayed at the Beach Club Villas (we went with our friends who are DVC owners at teh BCV.) We loved the BCV so much we plan to stay there again on our next trip for 2 weeks over Christmas 2005.
I have been to Disneyland Paris too and stayed in the New York hotel.

I have stayed at the place that had the Treehouses. I can't remember the name of it now. :)
ASMu twice
Poly once
Yacht Club in October :)

We almost always stay onsite. We have stayed at CBR, ASMo and the BWV.
