If you used something like chocolate chips, you'll need to keep them refrigerated.
If you used something like the candy melts you can buy at Michael's, you can stick them in the fridge to set up, then keep them in a container on the counter (as long as it's not hot where you are).
The other posters are right based on the type of chocolate they used. If you use a type of chocolate that contains quite a bit of wax (such as chocolate almond bark), it will store well at room temperature. If you dipped them in a type of chocolate designed for melting (such as Nestle morsels), you'll need to keep them in the fridge.
Hershey's solid chocolate usually needs to be refrigerated too if you've not added any sort of wax to it.
