liking someone that you really didn't think you would like at the first meeting? I met someone a few weeks ago that came across as arrogant and full of themself. Because of other people I've been forced to spend a fair amount of time with this indiviual since then and I've found that they are actually very sweet and pretty funny. This experience will give me a reminder to give everyone a second (and maybe third) chance. First impressions can be really wrong sometimes.

Yes, I have found myself in the same type of position. It's usually different when you really get to know that person and spend time with them.

Yep, I found that out with a co-worker of mine who is now a very very closer friend of mine. I didn't like her at all at first but now I think she is a sweetheart

Yep....my DH! The first time I was around him, I thought he was a little bit of a jerk. 8 months later, we were married!

One of my best friends told me that when she first met me, she thought I was snooty. I was floored. I can see that I would be perceived as a little bossy at first, but not snooty. Guess I'll have to work on that one,

This happened to me with someone from here on the DIS that I met at WDW last year. I felt quite intimidated by him at first, but now I count him as a good friend .
