Have you ever dressed as a Disney princess as an Adult in Disney?

Hopefully this works! We don't have any good pictures of it yet (it's still too depressing outside to do a nice photoshoot in the costume) so this is was taken on my cellphone and I forgot to take my glasses off

Oh my! That is soooo cool!
By any chance do you have pics of the other two you mentioned?

I know we have photoshoot photos of the Twisted Princesses. I'm hoping I can pursuade the other girls to put them up in our PTR (the burning of the Alice dress led to the Disney breakthrough moment apparently) but I'll have to ask permission from them first.

I wish we had the Tangled set but it won't be "debuted" for a few weeks :S I blame her damn hair.

My understanding is that you can attend MNSSHP dressed in an authentic looking Disney costume, but if they think you are close enough to confuse anyone, you will be warned not to sign autographs or pose for photos or lead anyone to believe you are the real thing. If they catch you doing that, they can ask you to leave.

This costume did damage to my hand (the one you can't see) it was bandaged up like in the tape came off it left bruised and red marks for a few months afterwards....

Oh please don't wear those to the parks. I can imagine little kids being scared.

Most definitely agree with you. these are 100000% not for parks (or for gatherings where smallish children may be). for the most part they've been retired to Halloween costumes or for use at the Zombie Walk in Toronto

I did an ode to belle when we went last September (I wore a yellow sundress with ruffles with yellow converse, did BBB and wore a tiara) and my son dressed up as buzz. So you can do it in a off beat way - as long as you don't try to rent/buy an authentic 100% costume and acting like you are CM I think would be fine and with in the rules.

Moonies: Great shots, and great ideas. Remember that it's Not So Scary...:lmao:

Back on the topic of dressing up not on a MNSSHP day, I've also read that Disney doesn't want to risk their characters being seen with behaviours not suitable, according to their policy (smoking comes to mind), and think of all the things a princess shouldn't do.

I'm 18 and I'm thinking of dressing up as a Disney Princess on my next vacation in October. Has anyone ever done this? If so, were you mobbed by small children wanting autographs? Also, does anyone know where to get adult sized princess dresses. I'm a size 5. Share your experiences I am very interested in knowing how this would turn out.

I tried to but my wife told me to stop it.....:rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2:

From a University Communications/Media Major standpoint I totally get that. I also do audience seating for a television show in the city and I'm sure it has a lot to do with image and "fairness" as well. If a child sees another child hanging out with say "Belle" all night and they aren't, they might raise a stink (or rather their parents will).

They must have hundreds of reasons for not letting adults dress up, and all 100% good ones, but it still makes me wish we could dress up on nonMNSSHP days in just the regular princesses (although all the ones we have so far are NOT walk around all day in the sun costumes anyways, let alone the scary factor of the TPs). We'll have to suffice with inspired pieces and Disney t-shirts/crowns/hats.

Last year I attended the MNSSHP in October and was dressed like Snow White. There were hundreds of princesses aged 1 through 70's...LOL! I walked in at 4 PM, without a problem. If you're going in October, you have a good chance of being there during the party nights.

Yeah I will be there during MNSSHP. Before I wasn't gonig to attend the party but now after these posts I am probably going to attend the party just so I can wear a Princess dress.

Well, kind of like a princess but not really so there would be no doubt that it wasn't a costume. This is a T shirt that I added a skirt and ribbon. This was at Disneyland. MY DS added stickers. Wow, that is a terrible picture.

I have a pic at home I discreetly snapped of a 2 very much older and less svelte princess and their children/husbands in the Magic Kingdom during our Dec/Jan holiday. They were allegedly Sleeping beauty and Cinderella I was shocked to see this as I knew adults in costume are a no no except during parties, so I discreetly took a picture of them as I knew no one would believe me! The cm's greeted them with applause and all smiles, I spotted them later on still wearing the costumes, go figure!
When I get home from work I will post it and hide thier faces as I would hate for anyone to see themselves on a message board.
