Have you ever bought a Disney Balloon in any of the parks?

We always buy our balloon on the way out of MK on our first day and then we have it in our room during our stay. We let the air out and take it home with us after the trip. Last trip I actually cut it up and used it as a background in our scrapbook. Oh, and we don't have any kids, yet....we get the balloons for us! :p

we've never bought a balloon, but we were lucky enough to be last on line and get a blue mylar balloon w/minnie's autograph on it... my dd was *THRILLED!* it went on some rides w/us, and at other rides the cm's held it for us (tied it to a post or rail)... unfortunately, it never occured to me to deflate it and bring it home as a souvie... DRAT!

The very first thing we did on our only trip to WDW was buy a silver mickey one for my 3 year old on Main Street. Somehow she managed to hit every single person in the head for a one mile radius with it; completely oblivious (very tiny :) ).

Mr. FFerret (aka Grumpy) was getting pretty irritated; we eventually hid it under a table on the second floor of Columbia House. Becky never noticed til quite some time later.

I do have some great pictures though of Captain Hook giving the bad balloon some whacks with his hook on our way to Frontierland --what a hoot! The poor thing was enjoyed for the brief time it was owned.

So, if you ever see an abandoned balloon in Columbia House think of the FFerrets :)

And all you young parents out there--you may want to reconsider who holds the balloon!

For those with young ones . Getting a balloon and tying to the stroller makes it a lot easier to spot the stroller when exiting some of the more crowded rides stroller parking area.
Well worth the cost of the balloon.

Funny, but that's one of the things I'm looking forward to on my next trip--buying DD a balloon on Main Street! We stayed at AKL last time and balloons are a "no-no" there so we didn't get any.

When my kids were little I would deflate mylar balloons and use them for decorations in their rooms. Each balloon had special memories for them and were proudly displayed on their walls. Plus it was a nice, cheap way of decorating.

Well, you can buy it, you just can't take it in. ;) It's for the safety of the animals. You can either leave it in your car if you have one, or I was told that you can take it to the front desk and they will put it away for you until you check out. I'm not sure if that's true as I didn't try it. I figured that DD wouldn't be too happy if I got her a balloon then tried to take it away so soon so I didn't get one at all.

I like that idea. ::yes::

I think we'll do that next time and we have no children either! ;)

If I were rich, I would buy the whole bunch of them:bounce: They look so cool when there are dozens of them together at once.:Pinkbounc
