Have you travelled to the UK either for work or pleasure?

Would you like to come and visit one day?

My husband and I are looking forward to doing that later in life. After our DD has grown.

While in college, I spent three months in London as part of Michigan State University's Humanities and Social Science program with fifty students and two MSU professors. It was a great learning experience. I would love to return.

Are you kidding?! I would love to LIVE there! I did a five-month study abroad program in London when I was in college, and I had the absolute best time. I hope to return to get my graduate degree soon! :)

I live here!

If you're in London - come and look me up ;)

I was in and out of London when I lived in Europe, but never stayed there and did touristy things. We're in the process of planning a trip for Fall 2005, can't wait!

I have done a tour of England / Scotland / Wales, and another one of Ireland.

I long to return. It literally calls to me. When I see scenes of the UK, the feeling I get is one of homesickness.

We had a surprise 3 night trip to London on our way home from Greece this summer. BA at LHR went on strike the day we were headed home (through LHR), so we made lemonade and stayed the 3 days it took BA to get us on a flight. It was fun, we saw Lion King and we stayed at the nicest hotel I've ever been in (even better that a Ritz, or Four Season IMHO), The Renaissance Chauncery Court (I think that’s what it was called)

We did have to spend 7 hours in the airport before we got all of this figured out, but it was still a fun jaunt.

I was in London this past October for a week and had a wonderful visit. I would love to visit again as London was fabulous. Next visit I would like to get out into the English countryside.

We went on our Honeymoon. 9 days 1500 miles of driving. We saw England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales.

I've never been there. I'd like to one day though. My mom's next door neighbor is from the UK and when I was a little girl, she made me want to see Trafalgar Square.:)

Can't wait to visit once the kids are grown and we are more free to travel!

We want to come in a few years, when the kids are about 11 or 12. I already have several guide books and have done a little planning in my head.

yep. i did study abroad there and after the program was over one of my flatmates and i traveled around the UK a lot. :) i'd love to move there. :)

Not yet, but would love to visit! My sister has been there twice and lost her passport in London the day before she was suppose to come home. Fortunately, she got a nice person who let her on the plane anyway and told her 'I can tell you're American, and I'm sure they'll be glad to have you back.' :D

My wife and I went on a tour of London, Wales, and Ireland in Feb. 2002. We absolutely loved it. I got to fit right in in Ireland. (Red hair and fair skin)

We're going back this June to Scotland and then hit London again. We can't wait.

Belle,
My DH and I both love London. We are waiting a few years for DD to be just a little bit older and we plan on bringing her. She just finished a major paper on her ancestors, a large portion of which came from England, Wales and Scotland. She can't wait to see it and we're also hoping to do a little more of the countryside next time too.

Meanwhile, we will have to make do with the Epcot UK, I guess!

Yes, twice on holiday to visit penpal and family. Found her name and address (Carlisle) in a teen magazine almost 40 years ago. We have a lot in common and get on great. I've never been to London but spent time in Northern England and Scotland. In turn, they have visited me twice and the last time we spent a week together at WDW!!! We had a wonderful time and wish we could do it again.
