Yep, once when I was kicked in the chest by my horse. Multiple rib fractures not a fun ride at all the pain and gasping for air only making the pain worse, and completly feeling like you are suffocating. The second time was when I was riding a green broke colt and the person who tightened the girth did not do a good job (my fault you always check your girth!) The saddle slipped the horse spooked I was able to stay on his back but the saddle competly slipped till it was under his belly and he bolted. He ran straight for the fence I thought he was gonna jump it or go through it. He decided to turn at the last minute and I went off like a lawn dart and beign the knuckle head I am the only thing I had on my head was a plastic head band with the big teeth. Well, when my head hit the fence post the teeth on the head band basically scalped me I needed 130 staples in my head. The third time was when my I was preg. with my little DD and I was beign transported to a bigger hospital with pre-eclampsia pre-term labor and when I got there a 50% abrupted placenta. The fourth time was when my little DD choked on her own saliva and the fifth was when they were transfering her to a bigger hospital. Needless to say I never want to get in another ambulance especially with my kids!

3 times

1. When my 1st DH had his very bad diving accident :sad1:
2. When I broke my neck in a car accident
3. When my first DS had breathing problems at 3 weeks old.

Yes. Once with my dad after I was injured during a football game junior year in high school. Once with DS when he was injured during a basketball game in his freshman year in high school.

Just once when I broke my arm and they weren't very helpful either. I had broken my arm and couldn't move it but they thought I was faking (yes I heard one emt say it to the other one) but my mom got there and she took me to the hospital so I sat in one but didn't get to ride in it

once unfortunately........after being rearended last summer by a big welding truck and flipping my Suburban 2 1/2 times. The paramedics said when they got to the scene, they were convinced there were going to be fatalities. God was definitely watching over us that day! I have to agree though with a PP, I was expecting the ride to be much smoother.

When my son was 5 he was in the driveway riding a little kids toy. He went under the van and cut his leg on the muffler. After cutting his leg to the bone we had to go for an ambulance ride. That whole ordeal was botched by the hospital and he still has carbon in his leg but at least he is fine now.

Yes, after a car accident. I was sandwiched on the highway. I caused the accident when I fainted (low blood sugar). Some nice lady helped me to the side of the road to wait for the ambulance because I was wandering around through four lanes of traffic. The fire department got there first and I was collared and boarded and got a ride to the ER. They called DH for me while I was in the ambulance ("home" in my cell phone) and I asked him for my mom. Poor DH, but he was a good sport and called her.
