not sure if it counts as a sale but my town had a bring and buy type sale to benifit the tsunami victims and i won a crate of 12 emobssed stella artois pint glasses in the silent auction

chuffed to bits.

as for jessica, we went to clarks village in street. the next outlet had all trousers/bottoms £3 all tops £4 all shoes £5. she made out like a bandit

Lemme see where to I start how about at Next where I purchased 6 trousers one pair for work, 2 white linen, 1 navy blue which look retro 40's and a knock around pair i'll probably trash in a year ohh and a pair of blue jeans that didn't fit right so they are goin back lemme see 4 blouses all for when we go to the D. Republic in November a couple are going back to the store cos the didn't fit right ummm goodness all that ohhh and a wooly hat for a £1 and all that was just 34£!!! but I only spent 10£ cos i had a Next voucher for 20£ oh yeah I did buy Rhys a kaftan shirt which he looks mighty fine in. then it was off to M & S for some Peruna I bought a cherry sun dress for 14£ Then a pair of now 3/4 trousers for holiday ohh and a dress which didn't look right when i got it home.

That was all, we had a very productive shoping day Rhys was even into it in Next he was lookin for boots (I love boots) he kept coming up to me askin if I liked this one or that pair but when we looked at them good we noticed they were 2 lefties His mom sister and I are goin back tomorrow so that his sister can have a look around /grin

ugh ok im still tired this morning but here goes....

Basically over xmas i was toying with the idea of booking jessica a week in disney in december 2005 as a kind of xmas suprise as well as going on the holiday to turkey we'd already planned. However after looking at the finances and discussing it with jessica we decided against it(we're saving for a house). Plus jessicas never really done a beachy type holiday before.

So i rang my usual places and got some prices for turkey and wasnt impressed at all. Out of curiosity i got a few prices for florida and the D republic also(went there 2 years ago.)

the d republic came up at £695 per person. 4 star all inclusive for 2 weeks. blooming impressive and far far cheaper than turkey. especially with all the food and drink thrown in. so we decided we'd go there.

So come the 30th of october we'll fly out to beautiful sunshine, sea and sand. oh and cocktails lol

UPDATE: took back a Per Una dress and bought a white linen dress instead well not really bought just exchanged which was wierd cos i didn't have to use my card Exchanged my Next shirts and jeans and bought a nice tank for summer My DMIL bought a dress for me so all together yesterday I spent 20£ and that was just on a Friends DVD (I'm trying to watch the series in order lol don't ask just bored at home i guess)

OHh yeah and we are off the the D Republic and I can't wait!! I'm gonna have a cabbana boy gettin me drinks and lying on the sun chairs next to the pool kniting away. I've been kniting just finished my first jumper my next project is goin to be a bikini for our holiday!

I got loads of stuff for my flat! Quilt(£120 to £30), saucepans (half price), cutlery(£150 to £59) a sofa! Hit the Debenhams sale Boxing Day! It was mad! They were giving out special 'early bird vouchers' thats why I got such a good bargin on the quilt! They had Dyson vaccums for £80, but only 5 in our store and they had all gone. Going to get my kitchen in the sale as well!
Got some really good buys, got a coat and a jumper I had been eyeing up before christmas, so was well chuffed they were reduced! I saved at least 40% on everything I bought. I love sales!!! Had to be a good girl this year, had to be sensible and buy house things. Anyway the extra pennies will be put towards Disney Trip in November!

I'm off to the Dominican Republic in 6 weeks! Where about are you staying rhysd2? that was a fantastic deal you got.
