Sounds like you had a great time, welcome home, Mom Rules!
Did anybody notice BambyTamby's gift to me down there at the bottom?

Isn't it adorable? Thanks again, Bamby!! Even my DH liked that little touch I dragged him to the screen to see!
Still feeling fussy and crabby because there's nothing left to do for our planning. I just have to pick up a few things (video tape for the camera, etc) and get packed, but of course, it's too early for that - though it might stop Meredith from putting on shorts every morning!
I've been trying to order my Disney Dining Experience card to no avail, there's never any answer, and they haven't yet returned my calls. I'm afraid they're put off by the Cdn phone number, but I very clearly explained in my message that we just haven't reached the condo yet and DO have our Florida driver's licences and address...
I have one more midnight to work and then 6 days off. I hope to actually see my husband in that time; we've had 2 days off together in the last 6 weeks or so, and we're both frazzled and lonely.
I work every night with a tolerant and pleasant partner who is completely uninterested in anything Disney....

She makes me feel, oh.....I don't know.......:space: ....you know?
GoofyJoofy, I'm sorry you had to cancel your rooms, and I sure wish I could snap them up...I've had fantasies lately of surprising DH with WL rooms for a long weekend getaway (yeah, right, I have NEVER left my kids except for work and one overnight to a town half an hour away last month for a church retreat).
Am toying with the idea of changing our dinner PS for our second night from Chef Mickey's to somewhere else....the reviews are either wonderful or horrible, no in between. Yes, we're in it for the characters, but we'd certainly like something we can stand to eat...seriously considering a switch to 1900 Park Fare....opinions, anyone? We've never been in the Contemporary. The only thing is, we have breakfast at CRT that morning, so maybe it would be princess overload? I don't know...we don't have anything at the GF this trip...
We have these PS's:
November 28: Dinner at Boma, 5 p.m. (planning to scoot over from AK RIGHT after the Jungle Jammin' Parade - am I safe??)
November 29: Breakfast at CRT, 10:00 a.m.
Dinner, Chef Mickey's, 5:20 p.m.
November 30: Dinner at Ohana, 5 p.m. (then
MVMCP)
December 1: Dinner at Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki Grill, 7 p.m.
December 2: Lunch at Whispering Canyon, 2 p.m. (birthday lunch for DsD before Grandma and Grandpa leave WDW)
Dinner - Beaches & Cream, probably, I don't know...we'll probably be at MGM, but with lunch at 2, don't know how hungry we'll be until quite a bit later
December 3: Boma for breakfast, 9:30 a.m. (when we surprise the kids with the news that we're not just there for breakfast, we're staying there for 2 more nights - they will think it's "going home day, because we'll have already packed up and everything."
Spoodles, 6:50 p.m.
December 4: Breakfast at Tusker House, Sunrise Safari (except DH, who gets to sleep in)
Crystal Palace, 4:20 p.m.
December 5: Counter service for lunch somewhere, probably, before heading back to Fort Myers.....
What do you think? We simply couldn't get much more in there; I definitely plan to check out the bakery in France, and maybe a dessert at Le Cellier one evening...desserts are hard, though, with Meredith's (and mine, too) dairy allergy. So many tempting things we can't have. Beaver tails are safe, though!! (and familiar, I grew up in Ottawa, Canada!)
Our itinerary includes Fantasmic/Osborne Lights the first night, SpectroMagic and Wishes the second, MVMCP the third, the Pirate Adventure for Caroline the 4th morning, IllumiNations that night, nothing specifically the 5th night (maybe Fantasmic again), Candlelight Processional the 6th night, Sunrise Safari the 7th morning....
I still have to figure out when we're going to get to see the Electrical Water Pageant.
We rather doubt we'll make it to Typhoon Lagoon, but I'm trying to keep our very last day open, at least, hoping it might be possible. I just don't have a lot of confidence that it'll be warm enough, but if it is, we'd really like to experience that for the first day.
This is getting really long, and really all it means is....I'm lonely and want to talk Disney till I drop...
Could somebody please tell me that POR will be wonderful, too, and that I won't spend the time there crossing days off the calendar till we can get to AKL CL for our last two nights?
