Welcome Back BT - your trip sounds fabulous and I can't wait to read your report! Jackie is a VERY special person and BWI is lucky to have her!

KERRY - I am SO very glad you are feeling better and that you are so "near" (with your laptop by your bedside!) You'll remain in my prayers for an even speedier recovery!

ALICE - you have many friends here, me included, that are here for you and your family. Just PM us and let us know what we can do.

As for the title of my post - Angels are everywhere - further proof. A friend of mine told me that all her office computers crashed (she is a physical therapist) suddenly and without warning. With them went her ability to bill patients and be paid. The computer company that she did business with wanted an outrageous sum of $ just to look at the problem. When she thought she was at her wit's end, she said she said a pleaful prayer and the phone rang. It was an old friend whom she hadn't seen in 5 years. She explained why she was so upset and her friend drove to her office and fixed her computers and wouldn't accept payment for the work she did.

It brightened my day when she told me the story. So I thought I would share. with you all

BTGlad you had a terrific stay! Did your parents utilize the ECVs parked in front of 06 & 07? If so, we spoke with them in the hallway one a.m., but didn't realize they were your family members. I noticed the ECVs were gone after a day or two. Lisa had 09 while we were there, too. I don't know how we didn't cross paths, probably because we were up and at 'em early each day and didn't hang around too often in the evening during the latter part of our stay. We were given the room we resided in two years ago 20 and my has our little tree grown!

Can't wait to see your pix.

annamonte: I'm sure all will go well for you today and you'll be right as rain in a few days! Good luck and loads of PD for a good outcome!

BT: What a WONDERFUL trip you've returned from. I can't wait to see the pictures. What wonderful memories you were able to create for your family... just priceless! Your train station dessert party sounds like such fun. It's great your disappointment was turned into a happy ending!

cajunfan The croissants are available at the Boardwalk Bakery. They supply the pastries for the Innkeepers Club at the BWI. I have to stop myself or I would eat all they put out. They are the best I have had anywhere.

While we are waiting for BT to give us a full report, I will let you all know that there are fantastic chocolate croissants at the Swan/Dolphin CL lounges! They are fantastic, and are great for a midnight treat if you can save one for that long!

Thanks YCFan, I just uploaded a scanned photograph or two this a.m. I don't do digital, but scan in select photos and save them online. I'm just not convinced I want a digital camera because I don't want my pix on my computer or deal with online albums, etc. Maybe some day, but for now I prefer good old 35 mm. I had a tough time choosing a photograph--we had 3 and, of course, there isn't one where we all look good! This is our Chef Mickey photograph taken by our server--one of the few things she did for us while we were there--frankly, one of the few nice things about Chef Mickey's this year.

BTW everyone, I posted part 1 of my restaurant reviews on the restaurant board yesterday. I had also posted a negative review on the transportation board, but it was deleted because I named "the car service that shall not be named". I'm slowly, but surely working my way through the review writing process.

WOW I have missed soooo much! Looks like I will have to go back and read about 10 pages worth.

I had virus/worm problems with both my computers. Had to remove things manually, as all the tools I tried failed to find anything.

And we had baseball playoffs and dance recitals, just wasn't enough time to check in.

We were also away for an extended Father's Day vacation. Spent several days in Lake George NY.

Prayers and LOTS of PD for Kerry, Annamonte, k&a&c'smom (Alice?) and WoodysRU.

BT - Welcome back! Sounds like a nice vacation, can't wait to hear all the details.

DF99 - Spoke to my brother last night, he recently got back from Universal. He stayed at Portofino and said how wonderful it was. Now between your description and his, I'm ready to plan a trip there.

Sounds like you had the Sasser worm too. Microsoft is very helpful by telling us to download the fix, but the Sasser worm won't let you get to it. I had to go to a cyber cafe to download the fix to a CD and then upload to my PCs. PM me if you need a copy.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I popped in, so I thought I'd see how everyone is doing!

I'm getting ready to bit the bullet and book my trip, hopefully today. Since I'm getting close to the three month mark, it's time to get crackin'!

Since I really want to try concierge, I will probablly go 1/2 regular and 1/2 CL. I just need the courage to make the call! LOL!

I hope everything is going well with y'all, and I hope to be hanging around here more!
