Have the 8+ night receptions resumed?

I know they were suspended during COVID, but have they returned?

Yes, the receptions have returned.

Yes. But it wasn’t a reception for the 2 we attended since Covid. It was a behind the scenes presentation in the Disney theater with a drink and a rice krispy treat.

Are the kiddos who are Gold and above allowed to attend, or just the adults? How do they differentiate the types of drinks? Or is it like the DVC reception where (theoretically) anyone could grab the booze…

Yes, the invitation is open to all Gold and above, adults and children. There's nonalcoholic drinks available.

For our event, we picked up the treats upon exiting. Drinks were for the show.

It is a Mickey shaped rice krispy treat! There were alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available. Handed out by cast members. Not self serve.

Ours was out on deck during the 9nt med. Early-9am, but really nice. Mimosas, juice. Krispy treats. We had some nice conversations with some of the officers. We enjoyed
