I got about 10 mpg when we left MI in December and got up to about 10 1/2 once I got out of the heavily "winter blended" fuel. Our trailer is about 9,000# loaded and we had 5 adult size people in the truck with a fridge, an Amigo scooter, a full cooler 4 or 5 cases of water and soda, a bike and some misc tools.
I went about 225 miles on the Interstate with about 25 miles on 2 lane a few weeks ago and got 18 1/4 unloaded, when the winter fuels leaves in the spring the MPG goes up about 1 1/2.
8 MPG isnt too bad for a new truck, it will get better.
