Have EMH changed in the last few years?

When visiting in the past, there was always one park open early, and another park open late. I looked at the EMH calendar the other day and it doesn't appear that there are many evening EMH listed anymore? Did I read that wrong, or have they changed the way they are doing them? EMH is my main consideration for staying on property this trip, and it isn't worth it for 2 nights only!

DAK no longer offers PM EMH. But, there are generally two AM EMH scheduled for DAK per week.
(This might change when they complete the new nighttime spectacular that is now being installed in DAK.)

PM EMHs used to all last THREE hours past the posted park closing times.
But now, PM EMHs all last just TWO hours past the posted park closing times.

All AM EMHs begin ONE hour before the posted park opening times.

Yes there used to be one morning and one night on the same day. I am hoping this link will work

For example lets use August 3-9 2008, and then August 2-8 2015. (both Sunday-Saturday )

August 2008 would have had 7 morning EMH. It also would have had 6 evening EMH.


This year it will have 5 morning EMH and 3 evening EMH. Also like Robo said, the evening used to be three hours, now it is only two.

Thanks. That makes my decision to stay off property for the first time much easier. Prices keep going up, and perks going down. Now my family of 6 has 5 "adults", and I don't see any advantages that work for us and make it worth the money.
