We currently have Chef Mickey's booked for May 6th and I am having second thoughts about it. Not because of the food or anything just that we've been there a few times and my Daughter will have seen Mickey and the gang a lot by the end of our trip!

After reading some of the reviews, I was thinking that it might be fun to switch to 1900 Park Fare. Of course, since I am asking for a reservation a week and a half from the date I want it, there are no Dinner reservations available. They have breakfast, but it is 11:00am and way too late for us.

Obviously we can just keep our Chef Mickey reservation and no big deal, but what are the chances that if we call every morning of our trip something will open up at 1900 Park Fare? We aren't really picky about Dinner times so that won't be an issue. Anyone tried this for a restaurant and been successful?

I don't plan to call obsessively and ruin my vacation over it, but just a call in the morning while we are getting ready for the days adventures?

We ate at 1900 Park Fare for the first time on our last trip. We loved it! We enjoyed it so much we wanted to go another night towards the end of our trip. The first day I called no luck but the next day we got lucky and got a same day ADR, there must have been a cancellation. It doesn't hurt to try. Good luck!! :)
