WOW! Uhm... your phone company STINKS! Can you PM with the name so I can avoid them if I need to shop around? That's just INSANE! Personally, I think you need a new company. I'd shop around. You may find a good deal somewhere else with free AWESOME phones! I know there are places (here) advertising lots and lots of phones cheap and free with new contracts.

I can't wait to get my new phone! I love me some upgrades!

The only problem with this is that Josh upgraded his phone after we did - so we still have a contract on our family plan until Aug. So, we aren't completely free to switch providers yet. But I am going to shop around today to see what I can find - because this is rediculous.

I've never heard anything good about that T company. Find out exactly when your contract is up. For instance, when I switched providers, I was allowed to get out of my contract 90 days prior to it actually ending without any penalties (since I had been with them on contract for X amount of years). Since they're jerks, they probably don't have a contract-forgiveness-thing like my last company did ... but it's worth a shot.

And if you really want a new phone, find out how much it is to get out of your contract. It might be worth it when you calculate out your bill and getting new phones and finding a better provider and such. Just a thought.

I am sorry that you are having such trouble with your phone company. I also have the same company and I haven't had a problem with them as of yet. I also haven't tried to upgrade or anything yet. Did you go to a store, or did you call someone? I know it's a pain in the butt, but I would talk to someone else and see if you get a diffrent answer (same as disney some might let you do it while some will not). If he/she tells you the same thing tell them you want to their superior. Don't be afraid to tell them that the outcome will decide if you go to another company or not. Hope it helps and good luck. Don't take no for an answer, maybe in the very lest they will say yes to get the crazy lady off the phone

I can get about the same plan (upgrade to 3G of data for Josh and I) for only $10 more/month... However, we would have to pay one time connection fees for 5 phones = $200. So, it would take a long time to make up those fees.

Verizon or Sprint doesn't touch ATnT for comparable prices or services...

We switched from another provider to AT&T. We didn't have to pay any connection fees. We just had to pay for the phones (maybe first month's bill, I can't recall). We imported all the numbers, they also imported all the data from our old phones. So I'm confused what the "connection fee" is ...

I will try to talk you through it but am probably not the best to relay this info. First of all copy your link to your PTR. Than go to your siggy and write what you want your title to be (don't forget to add size, font, and color you want). Highlight your title. Now go to the line up top where you can make things bold or center it, go to the icon to the left of the red X (it looks like a small world with a paper clip like thing in front.) Paste our PTR link in there.
Hope I explained it right.
