Will they allow one adult (about 115 lbs) and a DS5 (40 lbs) and a DD8 (75 lbs) to ride together in one doonbuggy?

If not, are there any other options for the three of us to ride? I will have to ride with DD8 so I would be looking for ride partner for DS5? If we can't ride together, can we simply wait our turn in line and once we get to the front of the line, wait for a single rider and ask them if they would be willing to ride with DS5?

Both DS5 and DD8 have ridden HM before and it was DSs favourite ride. I know he will be able to handle it fine with a stranger with him. DD8 is another story. For months she said she will NEVER ride HM again but has recently changed her mind (as long as she rides with me).

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Just 'Drag your wrected bodies towards the dead center' of the car, and
I don't think they'll be any problem with the 3 of you to ride together!

Thanks so much for the info. Are other Disney rides configured for 3 also (ex. pirates, buzz, splash mountain, big thunder mountain, pooh, peter pan etc)? Last time there were two adults, two kids so never thought about this. This time, just me and the kids.

I have yet to be at Epcot, or Studios. How are the rides there for three people?
FYI, DS5 is about the size of a 2 or 3 year old (40 pounds).

Thank you
Suzy V.

I have rode several times with my 3 kids and myself or if dh is there 2 and 3, no problem at all!!! :earsboy:

DH, DS6 and I always ride together on the HM. DS likes to ride in the middle and have the hitchhiking ghost ride on his lap.

I (more than 115 pounds) have ridden with my youngest DD (about 85 pounds) and my DH (more than 150 pounds), so I don't think you will have any problems.

Fitting 3 full sized adults is do-able, but it's a tight squeeze. Fitting 1 adult with 2 children is very easy to do..

We've been in one buggy with two adults and one 4 yr old. Fit fine. Have fun! :flower:

When DD was 2 we went to Disney with my sister and DH stayed home. So it was just three of us and for the most part we went on everything together when possible. We went on Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, the flying carpets, snow white to name a few and were in the same row. Others not always but it was 2 adults and one kid so it is generally possible. Have a great trip!

There are many rides for 3 riders.

MK---pooh, Dumbo, philharmagic, small world, transit authority, snow white, HM, pirates, tiki room, jungle cruise, Big Thunder railroad, Splash MT. (Space MT sits 3 to a car, but they are individual seats so you cannot really hang onto your child. I use to sit in front, ds in 2nd seat and dh would sit behind him and reach over to hold his shoulders. It wasn't very comfortable for dh, but it made ds feel safer when he was younger.)

Epcot---most of the attractions seat 3 or 4 in a row.

MGM---the only ride where you can only seat 2 is RNR. Many other attractions are theater style seating.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but those are the ones I can think of 1st hand.

Shouldn't be a problem....

by the way...it's doombuggy... ;)

It's definitely possible. I remember for one of my softball trips, 3 of the girls (who were about 16 and probably around 120-130 pounds each) shared a doom buggy and had no problem. Usually 2 people sit in a doom buggy but 3 can definitely fit, especially if 2 of them are young children.

3 riders will be fine --until at the end of the ride you will have Four riders!!!

"don't pull back on the lapbar please--I will do it for you"
