When does the HM normally go down for re-firb before opening with the Haunted Mansion Holiday theme, or do they not close it down for that time?

Im going in July of next year and Im wondering if will be closed.

Haunted mansion should be open in july 2011. Have fun planning your trip.

The number of refurbs in July is usually very, very low.

HM is usually closed in early-September for 2 1/2 weeks to install the HMH overlay.

This year HM will be down from Aug. 30 to Sept. 16.

This year HM was closed Jan. 4 – 14, 2010, to remove the HMH overlay. (FWIW)
