My kids and I did Haunted Hayride a few years ago - I think we were there mid-October that year. In some ways, I loved it more that
MNSSHP!!!! The price was - geez - don't recall - maybe $12 for my tix and $8 per kid?? We arrived at FW about 6:30, and by the time we got to the hayride starting point, the tix were sold out for the next ride. So - we bought tix for the next trip 90 minutes later and had dinner at Trail's End Buffet - another pleasant surprise.
Came out from dinner - Trail's End was uncrowded - kids shopped for pins, and we loaded onto the wagon. It was sort of like a live theatre presentation. We picked up a stranger who told us a story, heard noises, saw things, etc!!! - Don't want to give it all away!
And the headless horseman... WOW!!!! Much more a treat to see him galloping deep in the woods than down Main Street!!!
Can you tell we loved it and would go back in a sec if we could fit it in???
It's been a few years, but if anyone wants to ask anything else, feel free. I'll jog my brain around and see what else I can recall....
