hate the new fast pass

I have been trying to use it all day and it has yet to work for me. I keep getting the fast pass for the Blue Bayou, it starts counting and then it just disappears, I haven't able to get into the Blue Bayou all day.


What the heck are you people doing in there all day long?

Cat when it starts counting down you have to click on Enter room or it does just go away...

you just aren't doing the other part yet...

I hated it when they introduced it.

Why they think we would love to wait in 300 person lines again is beyond me. But then again, me and my little opinion is the least of their concerns.

I liked it better when it was luck of the draw to get in a 50 person line.

If it will cure my issue of disconnecting in any host line except the quick teleporter games, I'm SO excited. I'd wait in a line of 400 glady if it means I can actually finally get in without the dreaded "you have been disconnected" pop-up.

I LOVED the Fast Pass to get into Club 33 today.

I got my fast pass - was 200-something in line.

I went and explored the entire new land. I did the new quest. I "had lunch" with friends at the Blue Bayou (which is SOOO cool, love the Gator Waiter), took care of some things in a few of my rooms, and visited with friends in New Orleans Square.

A friend of mine's fast pass was up. She went in Club 33 knowing I was 5 people behind her. I did a quick trade and my count down to enter Club 33 started.

In I went and enjoyed the new Club 33 room with friends. Took a few pictures. And then left so others could enjoy.

LOVE all that stuff I could do while waiting in queue.

The only footnote I will add is a USER note: Dont leave your computer if you are within 10 of entering a room. If you miss the countdown to enter, back in line you go.

Just a question from someone who hasn't tried the new fastpass system yet.

You say you did the quest after you got your fastpass. Were you able to play the fireworks portion of the quest and still retain your pass, or did you just wait till you left Club 33 to play fireworks?

Dreams at first I read that to say "you took a few of the things to my room" - I was thinking they were handing out food you could take to your rooms!!! I had pictures of taking a sourdough bowl with clam chowder, monte cristo and a soda to my room and saving it for later. tee hee

I was in the line for the Blue Bayou and I got a pass for it, then when it was my time to enter, it took me to another queue..so I am confused

Well, I'm in the fast pass for club 33 this time and have managed to stay in the queue until 5 so far through I have been waiting for an hour and a half. I have traded, collected credits from the NPC, started the new quest but can't complete it with the fireworks game, but I'm still in the queue so far. Before in the queue for Blue Bayou it just disappeared before reaching the end.

I finally got in the Blue Bayou, but not by the fast pass, I just lucked out and got a queue less then 50 so it was regular wait line for it.

As soon as it turns green and starts counting down, click on it, and it will take you in.

Cat on the pop up on the fast pass there are two buttons
one is red and "leave the queue"
the other is green and "enter room"

When you are about to go into room (you are next up) it will start counting down- you have to click on "enter room" or the countdown will continue and you will just be whereever you were.

But if you click on enter room before going into the room you are sent to the room...

Also earlier I had a fast pass to get into Blue Bayou- and would periodically click on Blue Bayou to see if any lines were shorter and it would offer me another fast pass- my guess is that if I had clicked ok to the new one I would leave the first but just wanted to pass on that information too

As I said before, I DID THAT.

I just spent 2 hours waiting on the fast pass into Club 33, when it finally started flashing and I pushed it at 12 seonds, it took me back to the fast pass sign in page of a 388 person queue. I have tried the fast pass 33 times today and haven't gotten into any rooms at all using it. I won't use it again.

I must say i also love the fast pass!

I have only been home from work since 2:00 or so PST and I have been in Club 33, been in the Blue Bayou 2-3 times (first visit, quest visit, showing my daughter visit), played fireworks a couple times, explored the new stuff. I think the fast pass is brilliant and is working beautifully.

Granted on another computer it may be just as bad as before if you are actually in a line and disconnect. However I have had no problems with anything in the park today new or old areas.

I had no problem using the pass either. I love it! I am so excited that we can also play games while its counting down. If you're in a line for 200 people its great to do something fun while you're waiting. Love it, love it!!

I might love it too if if worked for me. But since it doesn't work, I can't very well love now can I?

So just to test it I tried this experiment:
I got in the fast pass for Blue Bayou, got in queue with 46 people. Waited 5 minutes, then went back to Blue Bayou room using the just plain wait in line method. The fast pass is at 20 people now and the just wait in line method I have move pass 20 and am 8 in line. So which is better?

fast pass at 14 still, wait -hey no wait I'm in the room

fast pass at 9, I've been in the blue bayou with the wait method, then in about 5 other rooms and now have to stop the fast pass so I can play the fireworks.
