Of being nostalgic for something I cant do anymore, or at least not in the near future. For example totally missing the country bears vacation jamboree I just got some disney ride music for my i pod and it was on there really gave me an itch for something thats not there any more. Also I really wanted to see fantasmik this time, but it wont be playing when Im there and I dont think Ill be able to afford to go back for a while. :sad1: Does anyone else get this feeling? what DLR attractions are no more that you miss?

I get more nostalgic when I'm not in the parks but while I'm there, the only things that I miss are the ones that left something behind to remind me of things past. The PeopleMover (Tracks), Skyway (The Fantasyland Station is still there), America Sings (Man I hate Innoventions). Good thing is though, it dosen't consume me while I'm there, it's more of passing thoughts when I see those reminders. Too busy having fun to worry about the past. :)

Well I don't think about it so much when Im there. Its mainly at home when I'm planning and such that I miss some of the older stuff. Yeah Innoventions sucks however. A lot of the Anamatrionics from America sings is in Splash Mountain, and Star tours...there the robots in the cue.

You can go to Disney World, they still have the Country Bears, and they are offering crazy deals right now, much better than Disneyland is offering. Now if only a flight from California to Orlando was not so expensive.... :headache:

I LOVE the Bears! It was one of my favorite things at DL and miss them terribly. I was SO excited to see them when we went to WDW. Yay! My Bears! I believe a picture is truly worth a 1,000 words. Here's my 2,000 word description of my 8 year, long-time awaited visit with the bears:

Hibernating. The entire time we were there. Bah!

STILL missing my bears,

I can totally understand this one. My b-day trip to DL in 2006 was the 1st time I had been back in 13 years and wouldn't you know it, HM was closed the whole trip for its conversion back from the holiday version. Luckily I had decided to head into the park once I got there my 1st night (Which was around 5PM) because it was the last day that POTC was open before the 3 month renovation to add Capt Jack. Would have been a little disapointing to have missed both HM and POTC after 13 years. pirate:

In addition to the Peoplemover I also miss the Pendleton store, and the fact that you cant buy the cap gun muskets anymore at DL. They were in full effect at WSW though....:confused3
