My large-headed husband has a Tilley hat we found at an outrigger shop in Grand Marais, MN about 13 years ago.... and it's still going strong! He loves that hat, and it actually looks good on him. He looks completely dorky when he tries to wear a baseball cap!

He always jokes about being a kid playing baseball, and how they only had 1 really big batting helmet. The coach always had to make sure that my DH and the other big-headed kid were far enough apart in the batting order so that they would never need the helmet at the same time!

I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone in my huge-headedness! When I was a teenager it was a thing to steal boy's baseball hats and wear them. I didn't know I had a big head then, so imagine my horror when I learned that my head was bigger than most of the boy's heads!

My wife is a kindergarten teacher. One day I walked into her class and this little boy, whom I'd never seen, stares at me for a few seconds, and says, and I quote: "Man, you've got a big head!" After sharing that pearl of wisdom, he got back to his assignment. Gotta love kids just being honest.

I was loathe to spend that much too, so I scouted the website, found the one I liked, went on Amazon and found last year's version of the same hat for 50% off.

Honestly though....it's worth full price.

My DH has the same blessing! We have found him Indiana Jones type hats on our last two trips to DW, in the HS shop right outside the Indiana Jones show. We hope to luck out again for our third trip!

I second this! My DH has vast cranial matter and requires an XL hat. He loves his Indy hat we got at this shop. We take it every trip. It is ventilated and DH finds it nice and cool.
