Has this ever happened to you??

I booked a room at the Howard Johnson Plaza resort\ conference center {the pictures on the internet looked good} Looking all around these boards and no one has any word about it.It isn't even listed on the best\worst list. I am starting to wonder if I made a mistake in bookig there. It is closer to Universal then to WDW,but for 48$ I don't really know what I am getting. Can someone please help this worried person out!! I am leaving in 9 days and having trouble thinking about anything else.

Sorry - I've never been there myself, but I was looking at it for our December trip. We were interested in the suite. Is this the one that was recently remodeled (2001) and won the Howard Johnson's Hotel of the Year award?

If so, would you PLEASE post when you get back and let us know how it is?

It's SOOOO scary booking a place sight unseen - huh? Sorry I couldn't be of help..

I don't know if this is the same one?? This hotel is on Kirkman, 3 blocks from wet n' wild. It has 3 pools, little mini golf. Could you tell me if this sounds the same. If so I am glad to hear that someone has heard of it. Still worried!! :

If it's close to Wet N Wild, then it is closer to US than to WDW.

I still haven't heard from anyone that has been there. I guess I'll be surprised when I get there. But I am still here if anyone has anything for me. Leaving in 7 days!!!
