We haven't been to Disney since Sept 2014 and are planning a trip for Oct 2016. Last time, there was a lot to think about when planning - getting everything linked on the website, learning how to use FP plus, figuring out how to work in Seven dwarfs, etc. Is there anything new we need to consider while planning?
As mentioned, the prices went up...
- Hollywood studios has a lot of stuff closed but frozen has become star wars now so take some time to see what is there before you decide to go.. The new star wars fireworks (they did construction for it) starts in june so that will be new and I'm rather excited for it.
- the new TSMM track will be opened
- Animal Kingdom's new evening hours starts end of may, this will feature new lighting, a projected random mini-show on the tree of life (no scheduled times, it just happens here and there), some dance parties, and a new night safari with some nocturnal animals. There is a new theater in the "river" but the rivers of light show is broken so it didn't start yet but by october it may be started.
- ak: some menus revamped at various places
- ak: a new signature restaurant (and disney's first in this park)
- ak: I forget the name of it but a new little section of shops with some sweet shops amongst other things in the back corner.
- the new soarin' film will open with a third theater
- most of disney springs should be completed and opened with a lot of new shops, food, etc..
- they are starting to do little touches they never did around mk (main street vehicles out at different times all day long for example)..
- they keep adding all types of expensive temporary events you can buy tickets for.
- osbourne lights are gone.
hmm don't think I missed anything..
