I'm sorry you've not gotten any responses yet. Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with the Imagine key. Hopefully this post will bump up and you'll get some feedback!

thank you. I just wanted to know how hard it was to get reservations since there are so many block outs and dates you can't go . It seems like you can't go in December

That’s the cheapest key, right? I used to have one. It wasn’t too difficult but very many blackout dates, it was a weekday Monday to Thursday only pass

Maybe try giving a little more information. Are you a local? Are you looking to go at a specific time? Do you just like the idea of having the ability to go to DLR at scattered times throughout the year when you can? Does it matter to you that weekends would be blocked, as well as all of June and July?

My son and his wife used to have that one. There wasn’t a lot of difficulty getting reservations, but as everyone has pointed out the only days available on that pass are Monday-Thursday. Summer and holidays are blacked out. They moved up to the Enchant pass so they could have some Fridays and Sundays and a bit more availability at start and end of summer and holiday seasons.

I am local. We usually have gone during the weekday. Not being able to use it in June is hard but we can do it. I did look at the calendars. I just didn’t know if people weren't able to get the reservations on the dates allowed.
I see some dates in October. But December is blocked

I don't think the issue is that people can't get reservations on dates allowed. It is more that too many dates are blocked which makes it difficult for some to work around.

Ok thanks. There are a lot of blocked out dates etc. something to think about for sure. I just wanted to make sure we could get the few dates offered!

The issue is also that you only get two reservations at a time. You can make a new reservation once you’ve scanned into a park.

I have one and have had zero issues getting dates that I want. Also, it is not just a Monday - Thursday pass. I've been quite a few Fridays which is what works for us. Although I do see for next year they've made a few changes with dates. I don't mind not going in the summer. Would be nice to have some December dates but since the official Christmas time opens on November 15th this year, I don't feel like I'm missing out with events and decorations.

I was thinking about not renewing but a park hopper is so expensive on Fridays, anywhere from $234 to $271. I just need to go twice-ish to break even and anything else is a bonus.

I had one a while back. It wasn't bad when my children were not in school yet, but it's very limiting if you either have children in school or a job without much or any PTO. I see it as a pass for people who live 30 minutes or less away who can just go after work or school whenever or for people who don't have to work on weekdays. It's not the worst to get reservations, but if you know you want a specific date, it's smart to book early to be safe.

I don't believe there are any Sundays on the calendar. From Nov 1 2024 to end of Nov 2025 there are 20 Fridays if that makes a difference.
