Has anyone had a wait list go through with in 30 days of departure?????

Yes. I don't remember the details, but a couple of years ago we got one about 2-weeks before check-in date. We had a Studio already and got a 1-B/R that we were waitlisted for.

It didn't change our travel dates any.

We had the waitlist set for the 7-day notification minimum. If we had it set for the 30-day notification minimum, we wouldn't have gotten it.

I had a studio come through at the BWV seven days prior last Christmas. So, hang in there.

I'll try to keep my head up then. We are wait listed until the 7 day mark. The only downside I see is a flight to get there if it does go through.

Yes, several times. It even came through for New Years 2005 at very short notice. Good Luck!!!!!

Was there a specific place you wanted? Make a ressie for what ever you can get then waitlist for what you actually wanted. That way you can get your airline tickets. Last Monday I reserved SSR for this coming Monday. Then called each day to see if Wilderness or Boardwalk were open. I got lucky today and have a ressie at Wilderness Lodge and cancelled SSR.

I had a waitlist come through the day before I left for vacation!!! Seriously, in Ocotber 2005, I had 7 nights at the BWV and I wanted the 8th night there as well, so we wouldn't have to move for one night. I called the day before we left, and believe it nor not a 2BR had become available that morning for our last night.

Boy, was I happy!!!!!!!!
