I had origanally booked a AAA disc room only with Disney until a better disc came out. I didn't want a package and I wanted to be able to get a better discount (if they came out) easily so I choice to go directly with a Disney Room Only reservation.
We booked our trip through AAA FEB5-FEB14. We are not AP holders, so we knew we would not get that discount. At the time we booked AAA was cheaper for hotel and ticket package than going through CRO, American Airlines package and Expedia. We may have booked a a lucky time but I am very happy with our accomadations and the discount diamond card.
Hi MagicPrincess
My sister and I booked through AAA last July the Fairytale Package-Silver Plan. It was our first time staying on property(AKL) and my sister seemed to know how to use the wishes. We did lots in the 7 days were were there; dinner shows, character meals, Fantasmic dinner package and Cirque de Soleili. We did not take advantage of the special viewing for the Fireworks or Mickey's Jammin Parade which we are going to do in Aug. 04 when we go again. For us it just seems more convienent to go through an agent with AAA than to try and do it ourselves. There is a lot of good suggestions on the Dis Boards and in some Disney guide books that are helpful. We had no complaints and look forward to our trip again next summer. Sometime we may try and do it ourselves, but for now we will rely on our trusted travel agent
Good Luck and have a wonderful time at WDW
