Has anyone tried making changes to bounceback offer?

Has anyone tried to change the resort from a bounceback offer for FD? We made a bounceback ressie last September for POR while we were at WDW. But now DBf wants to change to POFQ. I am just wondering if this is possible or do I have to rebook the entire trip? We got a really generous discount last year and I just don't think it's worth it to change to POFQ if we have to rebook the entire trip.

I just added a day to my 40% off pin code offer. I think once you have booked the reservation if the rooms are available you can change. I don't really know but you can call in the morning. I asked a similar ? yesterday but just had to call this morning. Good luck!

I booked free dining bounceback for the first week of September (when I was there last Sept). A few months after arriving home, I decided I'd like to move the trip back a few weeks so I could be there for the Food & Wine Festival. I called and was able to move the trip to Sept 26th-Oct 4th (and still keep the free dining). The CM said that as long as the promotion was booked during the required time frame that they could then play around with either dates or resorts later if someone wanted to change.

I just called WDW and they said there are no rooms are available at POFQ for the time that we are going. bummer...:sad2: I really think that we would like POFQ more than POR. Please convince me that we didnt' make the wrong decision to stay at POR...:sad1:

Call again and ask for an agent that does Travel Trade. I tried doing the same thing acouple of months ago and was finally forwarded to someone who was authorized to make the change. After speaking to him for a while, he said if you want to make another change, as for Travel Trade.

I agree... try again. When I changed my bounceback resort (from Beach Club to CSR to save some $$$), I was told that there was no availability at the CSR for the bounceback code. They consulted with another cast member, and I was told that they needed to change some things in the system, and that it would take about a half hour to get it done, & would I mind if they did it and just emailed me the new confirmation with the new rates.

They did it, and my new confirmation was back to me within about 45 minutes. The CMs worked hard to get my reservation changed, but it did work.

However, if you can't get the change, POR is a very nice resort. I like the grounds better than at POFQ (more shade and better landscaped, IMO).

We changed from Pop to Old Key West but had to make sure that they put you thru to the special department. the ones that make your reservations today can not change past packages. We were also able to save 30% on the resort and get free dining. We love Old Key West roominess and charm. We are doing an adult only trip.

We just stayed at POR and it was beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves so much. My 2 kids 9 & 11 also loved the resort.

Thanks to fellow DISers...I was able to talk to a very nice CM called Olivia at the travel trade department and was able to change our ressie to POFQ! :woohoo:
The only thing is that she has to make a new reservation under the new FD promotion code since nothing is available under our old bounceback promotion code. To my surprise, it actually costs us the same $$ even under the new FD promotion code for POFQ. So I guess the bounceback promotion didn't save us extra $$ but it guarantees a room for us when FD comes out to public.:confused3

That's how I've always understood it. The bounceback gives you first pickings for the rooms, but will be the same price if you waited for the GP release.

For 2008 I had a hard time getting a standard room at CSR until the end of the booking booking period. I took a WTV but really didn't want to spend the extra $$. I booked bounceback while we were there and got what I wanted for the dates I wanted for 2009.

I just mad changes on sunday for our bounceback

No problems at all changing the dates.

Due to airline prices, i switched to a tuesday-tuesday trip instea of saturday to saturday and saved 800 on airfare
