Has anyone stayed in a 2 bdrm stand view @ Jambo house?

If so, I have some questions:

1. Is the standard view pool or parking lot?
2. How many bathrooms are there?
3. Is there a separate shower stall?
4. What floor are the DVC rooms on in Jambo house?
5. Are the 2 bedrooms dedicated?

Sorry - I have no idea what you mean by "dedicated"? Can someone explain that please... I also get confused by the term "lockoff"? Are these 2 terms related?

A lock off 2 BR is a 1 BR room and a studio room with an connecting (and lockable) door. DVC rents these as either 2 BR lockoffs or separate 1 BR and studio, depending on demand.

A dedicated 2 BR is a 2 BR ALL the time - can't be separated into a studio and a 1 BR.

I haven't looked at the AKV layouts, but in our 2 BR dedicated at BCV - it didn't have any kitchenette in the 2nd bedroom since it's never used as a studio. A lockoff would have a full kitchen in the 1 BR part and a kitchenette in the studio part.

A dedicated only has one door to the hallway and a lockoff has two - one in the studio part, one in the 1 BR part.

I think that covers the highlights.

generally a dedicated has 2 queen beds - not the queen and double sleeper sofa of a studio.

bcv is the exception it only has 25 2-bedroom dedicated that have these.

We stayed at Kidani in May in a 1bdrm sav. view. This time we're doing a 2 bedroom standard and I thought about Jambo, but I don't like the fact that the rooms are not dedicated - kids are 10, 7 and 5. Although they are well behaved, you never know what goes through they're minds! Can't beat the 3rd bath at Kidani though. Sounds like the standard view at Jambo is a better view - beats the parking lot! Regardless, I'm sure we will have the best time - holidays at Disney - can't wait!!
