Has anyone stayed at a Karisma resort?

DH and I are considering one of the Karisma resorts for a quick getaway for my 30th birthday. Anyone stay at any of these before and have thoughts? I know they are highly rated on tripadvisor. We don't know which resort to choose yet.

I've sent clients to the Azul Sensatori and they've had a great time. The only thing is that the beach there is nothing to write home about.

Thanks!! My understanding is that the Azul resorts are for families while the El Dorados are for adults. Since this is our first time traveling without the kids, we are excited to stay somewhere for couples! We are trying to decide between the El Dorado Royale and the El Dorado Seaside Suites. I appreciate your input, as the overall brand quality is important too.

That is true. Azuls were designed with families in mind. I've not had the opportunity to book anyone into EL Dorados, but the overall Karisma brand is excellent and very reliable.
