Has anyone seen "White Oleander"?

If so tell me what you thought of it. Did you read the book??
I read the book first - extremely well written. Rented the movie this weekend and was disappointed. I did like the actors that were picked to play the characters but felt there was too much left out - if I had not ead the book I would have been lost!!

Looking forward to your opinions.

I just got it thru the mail (Netflix) but must say you just spoiled it for me! I'll watch it tomorrow and tell you how "lost" i get!

They can never include everything from a good book! Fellowship of the Ring and Two Towers literally left out entire chapters but it is a great work in itself! IMNSHO!

I have it out from Netflix but I have't gotten around to watching it yet.

Its always rough when you've read the book first! I actually did the opposite with LOTR, and I kept being amazed at all of these extra things in the books that weren't in the movie, and made it all a lot more complete! Then again, the movies have Orlando Bloom, so I digress
