Has anyone seen the sticks since the ban?

They are extremely serious. We see many taken every morning in bag check line, and have not seen any in the parks during the day.

"virtually all" are taken at bag check (at least at MK where I work) however we did see some yesterday that slipped in, in the park and they were taken for storage until the guest would exit. I can say that Disney is very serious about enforcing this at or before entry. Our managers bring this up in every days meeting for us to be vigilant regarding them and the procedure to collect them.

I'm glad to hear that they are serious about it--I would hate to be the person who gets and iphone to the face on a ride, talk about ruining your trip!

I saw a girl waking around with one in Future World at Epcot last week.

DH works at Walmart - someone came in for a selfie stick right after the ban was announced...dh mentioned that they were now banned at Disney. Naturally the person buying it for a Disney trip and they bought it anyway. I have wondered if their stick was taken away / held for them.

I'm glad that the ban is being taken seriously by Disney - I for one really dislike the selfie sticks in the parks!

Yesterday there was a guy with a giant Ipad tripod that was about 2 times longer than a selfie stick that he attached his Ipad and his Iphone to and proceeded to raise it all the way up and record the whole Voices of Liberty concert at 1:45. There were several CM's who saw him with it and even a security guard and nobody said anything. So he could have been given a special consideration but I would have been highly annoyed had I been sitting behind him.

We were in DL on June 30th, which was the first day of the ban. There were several CMs holding clear plastic bags of confiscated selfie sticks so they were definitely serious!!

The dude at the back of the parking lot tram made an announcement as we boarded from the parking lot yesterday at DHS. He said if you have one turn around and put it back in your car.

We saw many being taken at the Studios yesterday entering on the 4th. They were not happy, but they still took them from the guests. I personally did not see any sticks in the Studios or EPCOT all weekend long this weekend. So I do believe they are very serious about this and we have seen them being taken away.

I'm curious (we don't own one) - when security takes one away - do they label it with the person's name or something so they can get back the right one? And then where do they pick it back up again (can't be Guest Relations as that is in the park)?

There is a "package pick-up" location near the exit of all parks.
That could be a good place to store and pick up any kind of guest-specific item.
