Has anyone seen the Pixar movie that replaced Captain EO?

We saw the three shorts during marathon weekend. They were very enjoyable even though we had seen them in theaters. It was nice break.

It's 3 different Pixar shorts that are about 10 min each

We had seen the shorts before, but not in 3-D as I recall. We enjoyed it. My husband said he could have stayed all day and watched more...

We had a good time, it doesn't blow your socks of by any means. It was a nice sit down break for about 15-20 mins.

We were just there marathon weekend it was great . My kids loved it , the first one with Mickey was there favorite. It also got us inside away from the cold that week for the 20min it took for the show.

They aren't all Pixar short films, the Mickey Mouse one (Get a Horse) is by Walt Disney Animation Studios.

So, other than 3D, do "extra" sensory things still happen in the theater with the shorts?

Do you need a fastpass+ for this? It seems there isn't one available for my date

I was pleasantly surprised at the show. The preshow is really good too. Certainly enjoyed it far more than Captain EO. :)

Not familiar wit the extra sensory things. Do the seats move? Shrek 4D at Universal gave me a stomach ache, I don't do well with the up and down, seat moving it had.

We saw the Short Film Festival and really enjoyed it! La Luna was my favorite, but all three were entertaining. 3D glasses and 4D effects made it more of a "theme park" experience. Never saw Captain EO, so can't really "miss" that, but this was a nice entertaining break.

Anything would have to be better than that dated piece of celluloid...

I hope that they'll sometimes rotate the shorts they show - I would really love to see Sanjay's Super Team again, and when/if it wins the Animated Short Oscar, I'd really hope they move that into the rotation!! It's FANTASTIC!!!

The 3 shorts were nice! It was my first time watching La Luna and For the Birds. The 3D worked very well with all of them.

I doubt you will (unless you're going during the "busy" season, perhaps). We went this past Friday, made a FP+, and did not even need it. The stand-by line was the pre-show area. :)

Yes, the seats do have some motion occasionally, but not near the frequency what Shrek 4-D has. I think I got a headache from Shrek 4-D once. I think you will be okay. :)

Nothing like that. Don't want to spoil the fun, but it is only a few moments, and they won't give you any motion problems at all. There is no movement added as extra-sensory stuff.
