Has anyone rented from a Westgate Vacation Villas owner?

I have read several threads on here about the WVV in Kissimee. I was wondering if anyone has experience renting from an owner vs. booking online? We've been offered to rent a relative's timeshare there for a 2BR+loft. I've read in other threads there are charges for the water park and am wondering if we're NOT the owner but we're using the owner's points, if we have to pay for the water park? Or are there other amenities the owners get but those who book through their website do not, and if we qualify for those if we are using the owner's points?

Fees can change so frequently that I will often call the resort directly and ask just to be sure. Avoid calling 1-800 numbers that are often call centers and get the local number for the most accurate info from the front desk.
