These were fairly easy. The only one I'm somewhat hesitant about is no. 7. But since I remember Marguerite was an actress, which in French is "comedienne," I'd plunk for (b).

I've read the book several times. In fact, I was just talking to DH about it the other day after watching The Dark Knight. Because, really, Bruce Wayne is the Scarlet Pimpernel in a fancy outfit. Think about it...a high ranking, wealthy member of society pretends to be a lazy playboy but is really out saving the world using a secret identity.

Wouldn't it have been better to just read the book and do the homework?

Gosh, I was wondering the same thing!

I always loved the kids who just wrote "book reports" about movies! Because movies are so accurate, right?

I love doing quizzes and riddles online! Literature ones would be so cool! Can you share the website?

Now that you have the answers, can you tell us the riddle, or at least the site you got it from? Some of us love a good riddle . . . .

Is there a real riddle here or is the riddle simply, "How can I cheat on my summer reading assignments and get mom to do it for me?"

Yeah, I would love to hear this riddle as well. This sounds like something right out of Sophomore or Junior year English...

I will have to get that! I've only seen the old Leslie Howard version.

You will absolutely love it. Post it after you see it. I have watched it at least 10 times.

this is a weird thread~ OP are you trying to win a prize for the library summer reading program:confused3 :rotfl:
