Has anyone never stayed in their home resort?

We stay at all of our home resorts (OKW, BCV, & Vero) quite a lot. But my sister and her DH have never even seen their home resort. They bought at Vero 3 years ago while on a trip as our guests. They always make reservations at the last minute, so home resort was not a big thing to them. I tried to tell them about the dues, but they got such a good offer that it will take years to catch up on the dues. As a matter of fact, they trade quite a bit. In the 3 years that they have owned they have only been to WDW for 2 short trips. They live outside of Boston and have used the CC for a number of trips. Not the best value, but they seem to enjoy it.

We've owned for just over a year now with HHI being our home resort. With our extra points when we initially bought, we decided to make our first DVC trip to WDW this past June for 9 days. We split our stay between OKW and BCV for the pool access. The kids now want to stay at BWV due to the fun activities on the boardwalk at night we enjoyed in June. Our spontaneous Dec. trip in a few months will be at OKW again, but so far we prefer their accommodations because they offer more room.

Our first visit to our home resort will be June 2005 to HHI. I'm sure we won't be disappointed with those accommodations either!

So glad we're not alone! We joined DVC in 2001 and have stayed at OKW 2 times, BWV once, BCV 2 times...but have yet to stay at our home resort VWL!!

Our next trip is in either Feb or May 2005 and we're staying at either BWV or BCV...someday we'll make it to VWL.

We own at BCV,OKW,HH and SSR.

We haven't stayed at SSR yet. I will wait until the construction is complete.

We've owned for almost two years and have stayed at HHI, OKW, and BCV. In just 7 short days we will FINALLY get to stay at our home resort -- BWV!!! Gee, I hope we like it. We've never actually seen it from the inside!
