I really want to do this - I bought standard pillowcases and fabric markers. But I want to make sure I do this right. =)

I plan to wash the pillowcases first, is this correct? I know that is what I do with tee shirts.

Also...how do the characters sign? Should I bring a clip board with me so there is a hard surface? Has anyone had characters refuse to sign because its not an autograph book?

Thanks for your help,
Jes

Would love to know too...! I am planning on having the characters sign T-shirts... Has anyone done this?

Characters will sign (well those that can sign) will sign whatever you want them to. Yes you will need to have something hard for them to sign on. We use whatever we can find (cardboard works great).

Previously we have had them sign on authograph books, plain card stock (used for craft projects after the trip) T-shirts and even my arm and leg casts (no i was not really injured, just part of our MNSSHP costumes last year)As far as washing prior to printing, Yes that is best.

Be sure to iron the pillowcase prior to use to get the longest life out of it.
