I saw directions in a Disney catalog. Wondering if anyone has made on and how it came out?

Thanks!

I made one-It's really cute! We have a large arched window over our front door, and I have it hanging there:)

Yes!!!!! :) :) I did!! I love it!! My hubby thinks I am sooo weird!! But I think it came out GREAT!!!!

I made one too, It's hanging outside right now as we speak and I even added white lights to it.

What are the wreath sizes used?

My SIL made me one as a surprise. :) She's the best. It's hanging on the front door. The neighbor's now know I'm certifiable. :)

Now that it's been brought up, could someone post the instructions. I seem to have misplaced my magazine. Either that or it got purged when I was in my annual cleaning frenzy before Thqanksgiving.:o

We made 2 large ones a few years ago, wrapped white lights around them, put a bow on top for Minnie and a bow on the bottom for Mickey. They hang on our 2 windows outside every Christmas.
They were really easy. Just take a larger wreath and 2 smaller ones and wire those on to the bigger one. You might need to experiment with wreath sizes to get the look you want.

yes made one for my mirror in LR. only added lights to mine and changed some of the additions to it, used white baby's breath, it was easy to do.....think the wreaths I bought were 1 24in for main part of head , and two 18 in for ears. ....wired them together and added the finishing touches, we also made xmas balls ( mickey ears of course ) for on the tree...put a hot glue gun in my hands and it could be dangerous. haha, but it was alot less expensive to make then the ones they sold last year at the DS.

Okay, did you HAVE to post this???

I just got one wreath to decorate today... Now I'm thinking I need to go back by that store again and find 2 smaller wreaths (or candle rings) to turn it into a Mickey instead! :teeth:

Yes and have it all decorated with lights and it is hanging over my garage door. My friend wants me to make her one this year for her house.

This sounds great! Unfortuantly my wreaths are the predictable old plain type.

Here they are......

1 plain greenery wreath - 12" to 24" in diameter
2 plain greenery wreaths - 8" to 10" in diameter
2 yards 2 1/2" to 3" wide ribbon - wired or plain
1 package gold sparkle baby's breath
1 sprig of berries
assorted 2" to 3" holiday ornaments
heavy guage wire
green pipe cleaners or light wire

Attach the 2 smaller wreaths to the larger one using lengths of wire, making the Mickey-icon wreath. Attach ornaments with pipe cleaners or wire. Add the baby's breath, berries and ribbon bow.

When I made mine, I just used berries and a red bow with gold sparkles. It is now hanging on my porch railing. I love it!!
