Has anyone lost a magic band before their trip?

I am just beside myself. I had my grand-daughter's and my magic band in the box in my computer room. Well I just went down stairs to get my work computer and her magic band is gone! I called my son, and he asked her what she had done with, she said she left it beside the box, I have looked everywhere I can think of and no magic band. She is 6 and certainly knows better than to touch things like that.
My son is going to bring her and my grandson over tomorrow, to look around for it, hopefully my 2 year old grandson did not get a hold of it after my grand-daughter took it out of the box.
Would I be able to call Disney and get a new one for her?

My daughter lost hers. They replaced it with a grey one at the front desk. Very easy.

Thank you for your quick response. I was so upset, I still do not know what possessed her to take the band out of the box. Hopefully they will find it tomorrow.

I don't think they will mail you another one.

But until you get to the desk at the hotel she won't need it. You only need 1 active band to do DME.
